I am glad you liked it.. they have a lot on Rumi on Youtube.. just do a search. Some of it is quite good.

Penguin Classics has a short book of his works. I usualy hand it out to my peeps. He was a very nifty guy.

He had to be one hell of a lover in the sack. LOL

I find it as difficult to understand folks who are so sure there is no God, as they are of folks who do acknowledge Him.

God is like the head of the point of Light that is our Universe, Life and All of It.

We cannot get up there and take His place. He likes His place as much as we all like ours. God is Faster, More Ahead, the Originator of It All. He is in a process, the same way we are. He does not have all the answers, does not know everything, is not cut off from being questioned, or asked this or that. Mostly He does know more than we do and we are His Manifested Spirits. He learns from us. God is not anything you could pin down in one phrase, and has as many ways of being in a person's life as there are people. God does talk to people, people do hear Him. Sometimes people have said they hear God, but it has not been God they are listening to. Some folks who call them atheists have a keener connection with Him than some devout church goers. Guilt is not God, but guilt has been "God" on Earth for ages.

Emotions are as important as the Spiritual side. Each aspect of us is no less or more important than the other. We are meant to be balanced and live the life we desire.

I'm pagan, I acknowledge the existance of God for those that believe in it, but it is not for me, my choice.

External reality is a reflection of the individual's inner world. It is good to notice what is going on externally as a guide. There is nothing wrong with learning either way, from internal processing, and from external influences. It is usually better to try and deal with things to some degree in private, it will make dealing with thing out there easier and less charged.

Well if they followed Rumi they would be delighted.

*bright smile* He was a true romantic and lover at heart.

If you can get your hands on his works do. They are real eye openers.. and usualy the first step in learning I give to my students and or subs. He mixed romantic love with the love of God.
