An interesting thought perhaps, if everyone was devoid of clothing, would dominance be as easily discernable and for that matter, submissiveness? We are in a clothed society, yet that is not natural, we don clothes primarily for protection from the elements around us, us largely being in coldish countries. By donning clothing, we hide ourselves and to some, our insecurities.If we were all as our maker intended, would dynamics be so obvious?

Yes, absolutely; Ds is not a dress code. i can usually pick out a dominant or submissive in day to day life; not because of how they are dressed, but their mannerisms and how they carried themselves.

i wear black alot...heck i look good in it, and it's slimming(added benefit in my world) but i am constantly mistaken for a Domme in BDSM events...now it might be the high heeled thigh- highs boots and stockings with garter belts mixed with the red red lips...but i'm blaming the black clothes. i must admit, it's fun watching Doms go full circle from "Ma'aming" me to trying to figure out how to convince me to do a scene...i wonder if my Doms ever even considered my black clothes ...never bothered Any up to this point. b-l-sub-a-c-k[;)]

I don't have any color restrictions on my pet, but I like him in blue. It's always been one of my favorite colors, and he looks good in it. He tends to wear his clothes into tatters or wear clothes that no longer fit, so I'm more concerned with the state of his clothes than the color. I expect him to look neat and presentable, with clothes that fit instead of clothes two or three sizes too big. Usual "costume" if we're going out would be a button-up shirt, khakis or other casual dress pants, and a belt.

I'm sure there will be times when Mistress wants me naked, but Her preference for me is being locked in my latex catsuit with Her holding the only key to my freedom.
