ORIGINAL: GreedyTop ramen noodles with a good sesame oil drizzled on them is tasty. or with oodles of butter and lightly sprinkled with garlic salt ( I prefer the mccormick Calif. garlic salt) Ramen noodles are already fried in oil. I can't believe you add more fat to this equation. Overall, ramen noodles are so processed that I hardly consider them food - more like food-stuff. I'd use some nice fettuccine if all you want is noodles and butter - then you'd have fettuccine al burro. Spinach angel hair or linguine would also be good and cut down on some of the carbs (it still wouldn't be low-carb though). I'm Italian so we made this stuff from scratch twice a week growing up. And no, we didn't "extrude" it like it was play-doh, we used a knife on a wood board or one of those manual crank pasta makers.
