Status: offline 		Every one sees things through diffrent eyes. Calif I am offened at your brutality over something that effected anyone deeply, is your veiws the only correct way to see things? Do you have the BDSM text book to quote from that the rest of us did not recieve? I may not agree with a posting but to ridicule another's feelings of sadness is.........it is so short sided that I wish your holyness graces no one else with your god gifted insights

Status: offline 		Through the intensity how it was for 8 months she completely drained me.Dont get me wrong it was absolutely amazing and while it lasted you hardly notice the drop cause your in the high.My desire to dominate and her desire of me being in that role all the time made me put way to much energy in the relationship.The crazy hours of being awake and the massive amount of attention and energy she needed started to get in the way of both our lives.Thats all fine when your still in the middle of it because you also gets lots in return.But in the meantime i became more and more tired and even felt ill in the last month cause i was so drained.There were a few times i thought about just not being online for a week or so to charge the batteries a bit but i never did.At those times she felt me being withdrawn and not all there and managed to suck me back in by doing things she knows i absolutely love. The abrubt ending made me realise and feel how much she drained me and that it was probalby only a matter of time before i would regulate things more so the relationship would fit better in both our lives or withdraw from it for the benefit of her and my normal life.
As its now a few days later i talked to her for a bit through a friend and she experienced the exact same thing.
It got in the way of her life and couldnt really focus on anything other then her role and our time together.
Its also the same reason why she came to her drastic messure to dissapear.She felt like she didnt have any other option and if she talked to me about it that i'd be upset.If she would have i prolly would have supported her decision for the good of both.

Maybe i should have explained myself a lil better but i aint like the worlds best writer.
People always interperate things in their own way anywho so doesnt really matter.
As for you saying its 8 months only , i dont messure in quantity i messure in quality.
With the intensity how it was it might has well been 10 years.
If you never experienced that i'm sorry to hear that.

And if you read my initial post carefull i made that funny lil side note already by saying you could take Dom drop here literally,but this aint a pissing contest.
Main thing is that i know shes ok and i learned alot from this and will deff handle things differently in the future.
Time to recharge and get back on that horse.

And before anyone jumps my case, I didn't say "8 months only", I said "8 months online only"... the "only" referred to online, meaning this sort of thing happens on the internet all the time.  The topic of the thread, Dom drop, generally refers to the drop after a scene - see somewhere above about the chemicals in your brain.  It appears as if you have something else going on.  This has become an obsession for you and it does sound like you need to step away and spend more time with people face to face.

I'm glad you're feeling better.  Take some time to take care of yourself.

I think subs go thru that too & it lasts  for couple days...always good to call & check up on them if they are feeling funky emotionally as part of good aftercare.

Status: offline 		Ummm...not so sure about that, because sub drop seems to be much more common.  Virtually every sub will experience sub drop at some point, and it can be an intense, overwhelming feeling.  Dom drop?  I don't know--I don't think you'll find too many doms reporting that one.  I don't get anything like a drop or blue feeling, but I DO get massively tired after an especially intense experience.  Sometimes I just want to sleep!  It takes a ton of energy to dominate a human being.  People often forget that.
