Status: offline 		If the question is "go back in time and sight see" well, yea I guess it would be relaly amazing to see Julian and Auralian Rome, and Athens before Syracuse.

But if the question is actually go back in time, coose another time to life - fuck no!! This is the greatest time in history in man's history to date - more freedom, respect for human life, wealth, capital, etc than ever before - you'd have to fight me tooth and nail to get me out of now.

Although, as I am quite opinionated, I would probably have been jailed, burned at the stake, ....oooh, or maybe even publicly flogged...hehe.

Interestingly though, I find some facets of that era to be quite attractive:
men were in control (of the wife, the home)
protocols of etiquette were prevalent
writing letters was an art (so was flirting)

I am sorry to correct you sir, but you are mistaken. Dr's Piglet and Winston, while having some medical training, were not nurses.

Hell yes but not nearly as much fun. besides I want the battles before the pillaging and bonking and drinking and bonking. Nothing like wearing mail and swinging a broad sword for pre sex exercise and a good fight to get the adrenaline rush started.

Status: offline 		I don't want to throw cold water on this thread, and I ceretainly appreciate why persons would like to re-experience moments from their life.

But honestly, the time we live in is a paradise compared to earlier times. We don't have to go back far in time to reach of point of life being "nasty, brutish and short". In 1900 America, the average life expectancy was 47 years. The average life expectancy for Black Americans was 33 years. And lets not get started on social inequality, injustice and attitudes from the benighted past.

We have a long ways to go, but we live in relatively enlightened times compared to even recent history.
