Ya know, it just occured to me. Aileen is having 38 people over. My guess is she will be running around like a headless chicken and will not have time to notice a few crashers. And it is not like we won't contribute:

- I will bring a few bottles of the highest quality ripple.
- Slaveboy will lug in a few picnic tables stolen from his childhood state park. (hey...she DID say a sitdown dinner.)
- MrSuperior will bring his wench to help with the cooking.
- PrizedPosession will bring leftovers from her brothers baptism party.
- Popeye will ensure Aileen will not have to go to the trouble of putting away any leftover perogies.
- orfunboi will bring MissM
- subrob will bring something i never heard of.
- GT will bring her cats.
- Dincubus will  bring his appetite.
- and good ol Mod XI is invited to make sure we behave ourselves.

Everyone...have a safe and blessed holiday!!!!!

Aileen, are you doing *all* the cooking yourself or is someone helping you?
Oh, I've seen those frozen perogies in the supermarkets down here.
The next time I'm at the market I think I'll pick up a package of them just to try them out.

Hello Popeye.

A note on packaged  perogis.   despite the label saying to heat in the microwave, dont.
the key is in heating them properly.  a glass heat pan, over a slow heat is good.

also try 2 or 3 different brands.

i personally try to do w/o butter.

the idea is the evenly heat the perogi so as to taste fresh and not frozen fast-

let us know what brand is good!!
