see, for me suspension is no where near breath play. unlike suspension, breath play and asphixiation cannot be done safely. otoh, rope work can. if you know what you are doing, plan accordingly for emergencies (quick release points and scisors), and have another person to help keep an eye on the one being suspended, they are mostly harmless. and fun.

To be technical, by-the-wrist suspension is a form of breath play since that form of suspension compresses the chest making it hard to breathe. Crusified people died from being unable to breathe.

I will agree that it is probably safer than ligature breathplay
