I really loved this one they have of a black bear... lying in the snow making snow angels. It's ever so cute - and they got it on a trip to Alaska. And the harp made of peat that they got in Ireland.. and the "Our First Xmas Together" one they got for a wedding gift 9 years ago... and the little hand knit llama some gal sent them from Peru, and the set of White House ornaments his son in law sent him every year but they didn't know who it was from... Ohhh there are so many... So much love! Plenty to share!
Sunny, when i was first married i wanted a uniform tree. It was done exclusively with white doves and red velvet bows. It was beautiful but very very impersonal. I hated it.
The next year i went to my moms and fished the old decorations out of the basement...the grade school projects, the old beat up ornaments that i never thought twice about when i was a kid. Through the years i have collected non traditional things that become ornaments, and of course the LoudOne has supplied quite a few precious gems.
