I love that despite the 5 inches of snow headed our way Sat., the Dept. will still be hosting our version of "Toys for Tots" at our local Community Center but dammit...........I hate that T4T said they wouldn't help out this year so the only toys the kid's will receive are the one's people donated to the Station.
 
I kinda sorta love that they made it for a later hour so I can attend but damn does it have to be at 9pm? (Community Ctr's idea not our's)

I love seeing the kid's when they get their toys. I ask everyone I come across to show me what they picked & they're so excited!

**Eta I especially love that I live with walking distance of the station so I don't have to drive in that mess**

I love it that the dentist gave me gas for the exam and extraction.  I was not giggly but a good relaxation was in order....weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Stella....belated congrats. You are a true renaissance woman!

i love it that the weeuns will have a fabulous Christmas. i am so thankful, especially when i heard from a friend today that this year her kids will have "no Christmas". i suggested various charites, but she said her mother looks down on "such things". i had to remind her that the day itself isn't about tangible gifts, but the gift of hope and love for mankind. i love that she wasn't above taking a "loan" (without interest or a due date) from a friend. i hope a little bit helps.

I love it when things work!!! YAY!!! We got a wine chiller as a wedding present and it works! Bottles of wine go from room temp to properly chilled in six minutes! Huzzah!!!

Oooo - and it's been confirmed that, unless I get a job that interfers, I get to go to Florida with my family in February for my birthday! YAY!!!!!

I love it that I made it to Portland & am now ensconced in my nephew's guest room.  I love it that he didn't tell his 3-year-old daughter that I was going to be here, so it will be a big surprise in the morning.  Not *too* early in the morning, I'm hopin!!

...today public transport is running despite snow :o)

My 2 boys (cats) went outside now when i left because when i leave to nightshift this evening i won't come back until sunday morning as i am going to do 3 10hr shifts (night shift,followed by day followed by night). Therefore i am glad that they are out now and can come back inside before i am going off to work and therefore will be glad to be inside which would be more frustrating for them to be inside from now until sunday morning.

I love it when I have a card from Fluffy as well...though belated in acknowledgement...

I love it when the Internet access is back to proper speed since I paused the DLs.  Resuming DLs in a few minutes since I want my belly dancing music to listen to while traveling down to Austin.

I love it that I can drink cold fluids not without crying in pain!  I am trying to eat a fudgesicles (40 calories) tonight!

I love that after days of insomnia i got a great night sleep. It only took a turtle split sundae to make it happen. Sugar and triptophan to the rescue. I wouldn't recommend this treatment every night though.[:-]

...my 2 boys were eagerly awaiting me when I came home from placement today...gosh spicy greeted me as close to the mainroad as never before even when he felt obviously uncomfortable to be so close to the fast cars...I am just glad now to know that they had their enjoyment outside and will do well to be inside now for the next 1.5 days...after being outside in the cold for 9 hours...Gosh they were desperate to just lie down and relaxe once they had their food [:D] And I miss my furrys at my night shifts [&o] Damn I do so many this year...it is great for my bills...but shame for my furrys [&o]
