indeed fluffy it is...at first I was slightly annoyed as I missed by 3 points a mark which I would have preferred to assure to receive a 2:2 degree (though knowing how much I struggled with my exam preparation I am absolutely fine with the result, because re-doing an essay would be one thing, but re-doing an exam where you see face to face whoelse failed and have to be at a certain point at a certain time, is a bit of another thing...so re-doing an essay isn't a big story IMO, but re-doing exam is something I wish nobody to have to go through and I am just glad I did not have to re-do any of my exams in my three years). However, just re-reading the marking guidelines it appears as I will have now my 2:2 degree either way...because lucky me my B- last year was a double module and therefore counts twice, and therefore those "two" B- plus a C from this year for my first essay gives me all I needed...currently I have 29 points and all I need is 32 to get the 2:2 degree (second class lower degree), 2 results are outstanding (one counts double) and IF I would have in each of it only a D- (the minimum needed to pass), I would have 3 points as a D- gives one 1 point and one of that would count double...therefore as it looks like I can't screw up my 2:2 anymore...though I try to get my understanding of their guidelines confirmed tomorrow, but thats how it looks like...second class upper degree is out of reach I would need an A in each of the remaining ones...and so well...I get what I was aiming for all the time and that makes me very happy indeed as working fulltime next to my so called fulltime studying in a foreign language is by far not easy peacy all the time [8|] [sm=alien.gif] [sm=alien.gif] [sm=alien.gif] [sm=alien.gif] [sm=alien.gif]
