For those of you that know me,i am a very opinionated son-of-a-bitch and although most of my postings may be disagreed with it is because i am this way that i am strong.Hey..i am fucking Italian..we talk with our hands and perform sex acts with our faces...need i say more???..LOL

Personally, I think it takes a man who is sure of himself and his needs to be a good sub. They've stripped away all the false machismo and bravado in order to submit...which I think takes a lot of strength to be able to do.

My subs are never week. I'm not attracted to doormats and I don't Dominate someone I'm not attracted to. My two favorite boys, aside from being darn handsome, have strong, solid egos and dignity. You need to be strong, to know what you want to take the abuse I'd send your way. Anyone who makes the mistake of thinking a sub is a wimp or a weak personality would get the shock of their lives with me! I am a sub, but only to the one I choose to sub to, not anyone, it takes someone special and that is a rare quality. I am a strong minded, masculine, quite dominant personality, but will always be a sub, to the one who captures my heart.

I think it depends. Unfortunately, I've known guys who thought they were "submissive", when really they were folks who needed mental health treatment. Guys who were so overwelmed with life they thought "surrendering" control to a woman would make them happy. These guys will suck the life right out of you, all with the best intentions at heart, but wow. I don't think of these kinds of guys as "submissive", though. Rather, I see guys who are "submissive" as surrendering from a point of strength. They bend because they can and want to, not because they are broken and can't get up. This may not be a popular opinion, but this is why I get creeped out when a guy tells me he "NEEDS" to submit. I'm more comfortable with a guy who says I WANT to submit. When it comes to needs, if something happens and we can't fill that need we die (no air=death; no food=starvation etc). So when a guy tells me he needs to submit, to me he's saying he can't live in the real world where we don't always get the relationships we want. A guy who tells me he wants to submit--yummmmm. This is a guy who can live in the real world, who will survive if our relationship doesn't work (and hopefully won't stalk me, threaten my family, kill my pets or vandalize my home and car). So, no, I don't think submissives have a weak personality. I think submission requires a strong personality that doesn't loose by giving. Yet I can understand the misperception out there because so many folks who have some pretty big life issues seek shelter behind the label "submissive".

yes i have read it .but i too have unfortunately read the translations..unlike others sanskrit is a dead language..lot of people have translated in different way.there are lot of controversies too as the same verse can be interpreted in a different way.nope vedas dont mention BDSM nor does UPANISHADS..those are philosophical texts not lifestyle .vedas and upanishads dont believe in ism ...unfortunately most of hindus of india dont follow vedas..they follow sanatana dharma..i mean idol worship,worshipping reincarnations of vishnu.. yeah tantra can be sort of said as feminist as tantra believes in female form of god..i mean divine mother or prakati(nature).it was during tantra only that so many goddesses were wroshipped ..eg shakti ,kali etc later on in the later ages these goddess were made the campanions of male gods but there value were never made lower..yes there was no matirarchy anymore.. another philosophical school known as samkhya(enumeration)belive in both purusha(conciousness) and prakati(mother nature) as two separate entities..its a dualistic tradition and dont believe in creationist god as such.it believes that life forms arise only because of the sangam(combinition) of the above two..both are meaning less without each other.. now too we have goddesses which are wives of gods and people worship them here but not in sexual way ..its kind of paying homage to mother.. europe also worshipped diana and divine mother na before the advent of jesus christ. i hve digressed too much LOL..well thank you all for enlightening me..

I like reading the posts here once in a while though have never posted here. But I am pleseantly surprized to see that some of you know and like Indian music. I am an indian but live outside India for the last 7 years. I am 29 years old and am registered as a sub on this site. I just wanted to make a couple of points. Most people back in India or elsewhere have a slightly wrong opinion about the West and western women due to media. That is the only way people know about the west and the opinions formed are totally biased. The kinda of stuff we see on Media is usually not a true representation of people. I remember that in my first year of life outside India, a western friend remarked that i have a totally wrong notion of western people. Its the same with Indian media. The real life of an indian person is not at all reflected through indian music or movies. Its all fantasy. What can an Indian teenager think about the west if movie like American Pie are blockbusters. Not to forget Sex and the City. It makes me feel that NYC is a city full of Feminists :) Is that true ??? English has become a ubiquitous langauge and everyone everywhere watches American stuff. So, its very easy to form a wrong opinion about America. If Americans were this kool, they would not ask a Governer to resign just bcus he hooked up with a pro. Most people are not that liberal, I guess. Or is it like, be slutty but dont get caught. I think there are all kinds of people everywhere. People who love their parents, women who prefer families, men who are loving and devoted. Just that the fraction is different. So people should be broadminded and see beyond the stereotype image of any section of society. For there are all kinds of people everywhere in this world. As far as subs and weak personalities go, I think its not possible. If a sub has a weak personality, he/she has no taker. Weakness can never attract any kind of interest from anyone. So I think subs need to be strong in many ways to be weak in certain other ways. Thus, the proposition "subs have weak personality" can not be True. Thus, its False. Thats my feeling.

What fun is there in the conquest, if there is no struggle to get to that point? (Within reason of course, we've all had one of "those" slaves that struggled too much)
