However dog packs will fight to the death over food.  not for a % of it, but the whole thing.

A well as fight for territory, and dominance.

Also note that genetically people from east Africa have more genetic diversity than do the rest of us combined. That means people from 2 well seperated villages in Ethiopia are more different from each other than you are from any other non east African.

skin color comes from melin. depending on the amount of sun you get where you live determines the amount of melin you are born with. if you stay within a geographic region evolution takes over.

as to comparing us to dogs....
dogs dont think in terms of a whole species. they live in this moment and see in color of what is theirs and what they want to be theirs. they form pecking orders designed to carry on the best genes. dogs live in a society of acceptence.

when whatever created the human race gave us conscious thought it gave us fear of who we are.... it gaves us awareness of what we are not. so now there is always this struggle to be what we arent.... why? there is nothing wrong with who you are. you dont have to be perfect or the best or anything....

just you

that has nothig to do with race, creed, or anything else. i cannot compare myself to another soul for no soul is as mine. we are equal by choice. different by birth.

I will give you a very simple and detailed example: men produce lots of testosterone and women produce lots of estrogen.
 
Want ten million more detailed examples? Buy a biochemistry book, a book about genetics or a medical compendium. Just for curiosities sake you may start with the letter F for fat people or the letter A for anorexia, or H for hormones. Plenty in those letters to occupy you for several months.
 
That is why there are millions of biochemists, geneticists and other -ists all doing research on the differences between human bodies and human diseases.

WTF! How is sex hormones a biochemical difference between different 'races' of people?

So get to it, what are the biochemical differences between the so called races? What proteins? What genes? Provide references if you please.

I was responding to the statement of Hk in post 22, not to what Termyn8or said. T was very specific about the context of his statement - though his idea about the origin of peoples was wrong or at least not entirely correct. Hk took T's statement out of context and thus made it into a generalized statement. That is what I judged to be wrong.

Rule - you implied if not stated that there are "race'" based differences in our biochemistry. Lucky did indeed say the same thing, unmodified by context.

There also appear to be differences between populations in effectiveness of medication, but I know next to nothing about that subject as I do not am a pharmacist nor a physician.

I will not disagree that in the beginning of our existence here, we were no different in our behavior and capabilities then animals.
 
However, I am of the opinion, at some point that changed.
 
I think of all living things as having houses, the form that they take; but they are not the house itself; they are the energy that causes the house to “live”.
 
Different houses come equip with different appliances; these are our skills (capabilities).
 
Animals are more or less forced to use all of their appliances in order to survive. Humans on the other hand, have evolved to acquire new appliances so that we have options on how we run our houses.
 
People get too wrapped up in the appliances and houses, to apreciate the owner; whom on that level, is no more nor less then the next.

I have three dogs...I have three DIFFERENT breeds of dogs...I have a pit bull, a black lab and a wolf/husky hybrid....

Each is different...just like people. All three are female...two are fixed one is not.

Know what makes Me different from them?

I dont lick My own rectum. I dont lick My own vagina (Tho if I did I may be a much nicer person) I have only 2 nipples...My ears are on the side of My head and do not move to show My mood....I dont squat to poo....and I have thumbs...Im sure there are many more differences...but I wont bore you with the list.

Where am I the same as My dogs? I hate cats. I love attention and I growl and show My teeth when My ex comes to pick up My son.


Dogs are simple, they see things and do things much more simplistically than we do.  We over complicate things by having to know how things work, what does this and that...what makes it all tick and how can we get a grip on that. If we all lived like dogs, and thought like dogs...Im pretty sure this world would be a much better place. But its not. We are humans and we destroy things. We are parasites on this planet and we are self absorbed inconsiderate beings.

If you wanna know the truth...dogs are much nicer creatures than we are.

I think they are just much more adapt to their capabilities. Their appliances have not changed as much over the years, allowing for more time to practice.
