I worked as an EMT weekends in a small southern citymany, many years ago, we rolled on this secene you described, was not fun for a lot of small city polictians there, we recieved the call, found a 67+ gent naked in a bed, bra and panties under bed, a paddle, vibrator, rope, the call was made by young female, this day we don't know who made the 911 call. what am saying be alert for potenial accidents, it's hell to have knock a vanilla spouses door at 3am to tell them their spouse was found dead in a motel room across town.

Those videos supposedly made by the Taliban have got nothing to do with BDSM.

About the same thing as if there is an accident during weight lifting, rock climbing, football and other contact sports.  Before you start playing you try to make sure everyone knows how to do things safely and has safe equipment, and if an accident happens anyway, you stop playing and apply first aid.  If it's serious you get professional medical help.

It's rare for serious accidents to happen, since most people who play know what they are doing and are not interested in causing real harm.  Occasionally there have been incidents in the BDSM community, mostly from stuff like suspension bondage failing or equipment breaking.  But it's extremely rare.  You hear about a lot more accidents and real injuries happening in any sport, including non contact sports like jogging and track running.

Accidents happen, but they can be largely avoided or lessened in severity if one takes the proper precautions.

For example, when my Owner ties me, she always leaves me with a way out that I can use in case of an emergency.  The odds of her falling and knocking herself unconscious or something is one in a million, but this way I could help her and not be utterly helpless if something went wrong.

Also, stuff is always better when there's discussion beforehand of what's going to happen and how it's going to work.  I'd say you'd only generally need a discussion once, and then you could largely play it by ear from then on out.  Once you're both aware of how one another work, it's easier to notice abnormalities.  Half the time, my Owner will notice if I'm reacting badly well before I will.

Submissives should also remember that they're just as in charge of their well being as their Owner is.  Our Owners aren't perfect, and they will probably make mistakes from time to time.  If you're reacting badly, it shouldn't be beyond your rights to inform them of it.  A play session stopped early is a lot more preferable to a night in ER.

Lastly, if breathing stops ( ditto to knowing basic Anatomy) fuck CPR just pinch/block nose and breath into their lungs (exhaled air holds oxygen).  If they don't start ventilating quickly, call 911 (neurons have a few minutes before die permantly, depending on, temp, health, age).. The heart is another matter.

I have NO limits,NO boundries,and NO,known,tolerances. Yet,I am unable to find a Mistress willing to explore,possible,boundries/tolerances. A few years ago,I had a bad motorcycle accident,which broke my right hip bone,in 2 places,and injured my lower back. My orthopedic surgeon told my (ex-) wife,to massage my lower back,and paddle my hips,lightly,to stimulate the nerve endings. She didn't do either,so,now,I have 20%-30% of natural feelings,in my body,front and back,from,just,above my hips,to,about,6" below my hips,with very little feelings in my groin area. Yet,still,I'm unable to test possible limits,boundries,and/or tolerances,because no one is willing. Also,I do NOT believe in "safe" words. They are,just,an excuse to get out of pain,and/or discomfort. I have been in the lifestyle,for 22 years,first as a Master,with my,own,private dungeon,then as a switch,now,as a submissive slave. Any comments,from the BDSM world?
