ORIGINAL: YourhandMyAss What are some considerations you give your partner that, while they never asked for it specifically you do? 1. Turn off the TV or radio when we go to bed. It helps me go to sleep but I noticed He tosses and turns. He never asked me not to leave them on but I didn't want to disturb His sleep so I began making sure all noise was absent when we turn in. 2. I've learned to listen to music He likes that I don't particularly care for and to leave some of the types of music off that I love and He hates when He's present. For instance, He loves jazz. I am somewhat familiar with certain artists, but it's not something I really enjoy listening to alot of. I have learned to enjoy or at least smilingly tolerate it for hours at a time . I love many different types of music including some He just can't tolerate such as most seventies pop music, rap, and some others. I try to enjoy those at top volume when He is not home. He has never requested I not listen to the seventies stuff but He makes so much fun and rolls His eyes that it's better just to wait until He's not around. With the rap music, He's like Lashra. The CD player would wind up smashed to bits if He had to listen to more than a song or so of it. 3. Same goes for TV programs/movies I watch. I've exposed Him to lots of movies He had never seen but some of the genres I know He doesn't care for, I save and watch at night after work when He is still working. 4. I stay up later than I really care to. Many nights, I should already be asleep when He is just getting off work. He has specifically told me that I am free to go on to bed if I feel the urge. I just don't feel right doing so and I've missed Him all day so I'll stay up an hour or two later than I really want to so that we can share some time together at night. There are others I'm sure I'm forgetting but those are the biggies that popped into my head...............luci
