As a master, what do you prefer to call your sub/slave? What pet names do you use? Do you use their vanilla names? Is it situational and if so how? My sub wants a good name, and I'm having a hard time thinking up a good one.

I just happened to be here first. <wink> I gave My current sub the name of clip. It has a particular significance in our dynamic. I've always kept the tradition of naming Mine. I even have a couple of casual play partners that I have named, which they enjoy when we scene together. My best suggestion for you is to chose a name that has a significance to what the dynamic means to you. Nobody is going to come up with anything that is more fitting for your sub, than you are.

What comes to mind when you think of that person?? I have a couple pet names that I've been called. It usually has something to do with how my Dominant or partner feels about me or views me in relation to himself and our relationship.

My pets all ahve nicknames that reflect who they are, their personalities, how they act and what they mean to me. I have 2. Angel, who at 22 when I got him was already an active missionary, helping the underpriveledged overseas when he was on spring break and summer break from school. He puts the wellbieng of others ahead of his own, and does all he can to make the lives of the less fortunate better. He was an Angel then, and he s MY Angel now. Fox is clever, shy, energetic and yet scatterbrained at times. When he gets a notion in his head, he holds onto it and will not let it go. He has many moments of extreme cuddliness, and functions better as an individual aside from when it comes to me. I have had others, each had a name and a reason behind it. When you look at her, whats the first thing that comes to mind? DV

Some are more personal so as not to be shared here, but I do call him boy, honey, love, dork, and Mr. Forgetful, and certainly his own name is fine. Don't force a name- I think names should be organic and based on the experience you have together. There's no rush.

He calls me by my given name a lot. A lot of pet names too, "sweetie", "honey" and the like. He calls me Kitten a lot too.

Greetings, LA said, "I think names should be organic" and I agree with this. While SJ has talked about naming me, all he has ever called me from day one is "babe". In fact, when he introduces me to vanilla people and uses my given name, it sounds strange. So, I am "babe" at this point until he finds something he likes better. MIne has several names for me: my given name, honey, cuntpuppy, puppy and a few more :) I call him by given name, or honey. As has been said, don't force it :) it'll come! ETA: Among past folks, being called Greedy was not unusual... many of my friends (playpartners, relationships and just friends) continue to call me Greedy, even knowing my given name...

For me, recently I've been referred to as "pet" a lot. Kitten has always been my pet name, though, and so I'm just as likely to respond to "kitten" as I am to my real name... I remember I called my own pet, once upon a time, by a mixture of her real name and a pet name... I don't know, random stuff pops up like that. ~kitten~

He will make up nick names based on a personality quirk that he thinks is cute. Usually the name is amusingly cute as a result. They are also really personal and personalized because of this as well. Of course there are some standard references he uses to address me, but those personal names are special. He does this with almost everyone in his life, though. The funniest was when he started calling my cousin "happypants." There's a long story behind that one, though, and when he called her that she burst out laughing and started referring to herself as that. She has a list of nicknames, just like I do. :) When she told him she was a glutton for punishment, he started calling her HP Glutton. I'm sure she'll be thrilled that I have shared this about her, hahaha.

Through the roman era, the greeks had a few good ones, or even the celtics and theirs. All you have to look and see about if they have a meaning, because the name might sound really nice, but the meaning might not fit the female or male. Be well. Frank Ar.

Kajira's I always renamed. They are property and I wanted them to be named as I wished. Sub's I call by their "normal " name.

Start off with Hey You. Works for me every time. After a while you will find a name to call her or will just call her a bunch of names anyway. .

She did get a slave name, "La Esclava Pupura, (the purple slave) when she was collared but that is only used in a very formal context such as at her collaring. Choose something with meaning for both of you. Domino

I have never needed to give her any other name.

depending on Daddy's mood, my pet names can vary from daughter to my lil sexy cumslut bitch. He doesn't use my real name unless He's sending something through the mail. however with one pet, i call him pet, white slut, bitch, fuck toy, good boy or his real name (to calm him after a hard session) and with the other, i simply call him sissy bitch.

my Daddy tends to make up silly little names for me, one was "slo" (short for slut ho)...or he will drive by something and decide that he will name me that (the Cars Direct slave) or since we live in an Armenian neighborhood he was trying to make me "fit in" and so he came up with "Lahouchna"...whatever strikes him at the moment, some of them are hysterical as all hell. He also gave me "cherry" for online use, named after my favorite ice cream (cherry garcia)... However, since i spent many years using a stage name, he has forcedme to be comfortable in who i really am and won't allow me to hide behind a slave name. He sometimes usues my real name....or he just calls me honey, baby, the fluffy princess girl, slut, the chick and my girl.
