If judge me you must...
Judge me not for my past
and things beyond my control to change
If judge me you must...
Judge me not for mistakes of my youth
and choices made of immaturity

If judge me you must...
Judge me not for the life I led
before you came into my heart and spirit

If judge me you must...
Judge me from this day forward
and the person you have helped me become

Judge me for the warmth you have brought
to me, and the way I will choose to share it

Judge me for love you have ignited in me
and for the person it is helping me to become

If judge me you must...
Judge me for the heart, spirit and soul
you have allowed me to see within myself

If judge me you must...
Judge me for the person I am
since I have known and loved you
and the person I shall be forevermore.
