Perhaps what you have been studying isn't what really draws you to this. Maybe you're really drawn to this for the emotional, psychological and spiritual things you experience. Combine that with a possible adrenaline junkie or thrill seeker personality and you could quickly become unfulfilled. Look into both.

The idea about leaving it be for a few months might help reset the junkie part, but you'll still need to look into why you're a junkie and treat the underlying cause.

I was on Effexor for about a year but i ran out after my truck got smashed, then my parents and i split ways then lost my job, so medication isnt even an option. lol.
Anyways, my depression isnt that important this isnt a depression forum lol.

But maybe one day I'll find a decent doctor.

well thats a long story in its own. but the last doctor I saw told me that it wasnt her problem and sent me away. So while they might help people where you live, they dont care about those things here, so I chose to not care either lol.

You ever been to a bad restaurant? So as a result have you refused to go to any other restaurants either?

Find a new doctor. And if this one says it isn't something he can deal with, demand a referral to someone who can help. Psychiatrist, medication, therapy. It's a multidiscipline approach. But be aware, that if you aren't interested in changing things, if you're only interested in controlling others by refusing to get involved, get help, this will backfire. It's your job to seek help and to work on it. It isn't your domme's nor your doctor's. Yours!

And google passive aggressive because that's what I'm getting from you.

Hm, I don't know.  But I've always worried about pushing the limits till the point I cannot safely push them anymore and then everything feels tired and boring.  I think that's what you mean, right?

When my other hobbies get boring, I stop doing them and concentrate on something else.  Invariably, I end up meandering back and picking up whatever it is  I was doing six months ago.

kiwisub you have a lot to learn. Mabey the op has high blood pressure. The meds for that will stop your sex drive. Why do you think that viagra came about. There is more than one reason for depression.

You've posted quite a bit...compared to me, anyway, KarbonCopy... do you write poetry, blogs, journals?

Often getting the emotions out can have some easing of the turmoil within your mind.

Just a thought...   -mY

OP - I think I understand what you're saying. But if you have been diagnosed with clinical depression, and you've stopped taking the medication because of financial reasons, the symptoms will still be there. What you need to find is a way to re-institute the medication. Look into assistance programs that will help you - surely there is a government program that will help a person who is in financial need and does not have insurance available through an employer.

On top of that, you have an ear infection. The pain and other discomforts of that must be exacerbating your feelings right now. And are you on medication for that?

My recommendation is that you shift your research to how to take care of KarbonCopy. It takes a lot of digging to find the agencies and organizations that can help you - I know this first-hand. The added benefit to me was that I can now use the information I gleaned to be of service to others in my position.
