Aileen, coming from someone who gets nauseous looking out a second story window....I will just say that if that is what floats your boat, I hope it turns out to be everything that you want it to be for you! No pictures please though, I think I am feeling queasy already!

LUCKY!!!!! I hope you have a blast i got an offer to do it today. but a) I would have had to spend all day packing parachutes to get the money up to do it once b)I would have been camping out at the drop zone till sunday. not a bad thing. but i am in the middle of moving

She also did a tandem jump and said it was fantastic. She wants to do the solo jump soon. The place provided video and pictures; which, btw were very well done. How totally COOL! I will do it before I die. I adore flying also, in a plane every chance I get. My dad started that addiction. A friend of his was a pilot and built an open frame plane. Imagine, two bucket seats, one in front of the other, and an engine. All connected to a pipe frame with wings. That was my very first plane ride as a kid. I've been hooked ever since. Someday I hope to be able to take flying lessons. A dream would be to have my own plane. LOTS of photos!!! I'm glad you are getting to do this.

I am afraid of planes in general. I am hoping eventually to try and hop out of one to dispell the fear of ebing in one. I mean, after the rush of jumping OUT, a 747 flight to Vegas will seem like childs play. Good luck, have fun, and I'l be waiting with everyone else for the pix

I'm glad you are getting to do this. I'm checking to see if my dad wants to join us for the jump. He wanted to do it about two years ago down in Florida, but my sisters talked him out of it. Those twits. He just turned 79 and I think he should. He's a lifelong plane fanatic too. Airplane mechanic and then flight engineer for a private jet before he retired. Needless to say, he's young at heart.

[8\|] PM With over 20years in the miltary..18 airborne/SF I kept asking myaself the same damm question.."why do we have to jump out of this damm plane" smile..Yet I still jump from inviting building and from the New River Gorge bridge every chance I get..You screw up you are in the water cold and wet...

Nah...this is something that I've always wanted to do. I plan on bringing a camera to take pics as soon as the parachute deploys. I'm hoping that's allowed.
