funny how the 10% redhead population is responsible for 80% of sunscreen sales. Sheeeesh...do we fry.

also true for someone with the whitest skin ever...which is why i have never sun bathed. but i plan to when i go to the states this year...the humidity is ridiculous here for sun bathing...so i cant do it here.  im only hoping my tattoo's wont fade.

Faery,  darling.. the humidity in FL sucks serious ass....

i doubt it very much that florida gets 50C temps like we do-last year was the worst for this.  40+ for a whole month.  30+ almost the whole summer.

Why is it, males who have red hair are the butt of people's jokes, yet women who have red hair are so desirable by many?

Well, in my opinion, red-headed guys tend to appear awkward and somehow unfinished; but women with red hair truly explify all the glory of feminine beauty.

Maybe that's why, even though Ma'ams hair has been black for quite a while now; when i close my eyes, Her hair is as red as it was the night i met Her.  Not to say that She isn't incredibly beautiful now, but without Her red hair it's like there's just something not quite right about Her appearance.

I wonder if She feels the same of me without my goatee...

See?! WINS!!
And its ok colouredin, no real offense was taken.
And thank you GreedyTop. Its actually sort of funny. When im out and about, and especially when i get a haircut, women constantly come up to me and tell me how they wish they could have my hair color. Ive had barbers (stylists, whichever you like to use) actually tell me they didn't want to cut it.

i am a natural red head and so is my son. i have told him many times that he dodged a bullet, because most red headed men i have seen look like Howdy-Doody or Carrottop and he doesnt look like either. and he has BRIGHT red hair, but he is so good looking that he has to almost beat (no pun intended) the women off of him.
BTW: he is an adult now.

A girl needs more than just the color to be a redhead.  She needs the skintone to make it look right, but most important, redheads have their own inner fire and seductive personality, their own special brand of kinkiness and sensuality.  The girls who dye their hair can't get that out of a bottle.  It can't be imitated or faked.  That's why guys will still go for the natural redheads... even if we have freckles.

~slavebitch

Hey there I am not a natural born redhead and yes I do use the bottle to get a good shade of red. I don't burn easily but then again my natural color is dark brown with red highlights. It gets lighter in the spring and summer time due to the sun shining down on it and I have just as much fire as a person with natural red hair. So don't label all of us bottled redheads. Fire and sensuality all depends on the person not on the color of their hair.

Oh man... I hope I don't look howdy-doody or, god forbid.. carrot top. I cringe. Though, that might explain some things...

I believe i dodged a bullet, my mother has a picture of me as a young child, shoulder length red hair, a blue top and red and white pin-striped overalls.  I looked like an adorable red-headed girl.  I still have red in my hair, which really shows in my goatee and i still burn like i red-head; my shoulders are freckle colored from 2nd degree burns from the sun when i was seven.

I'm a ginger here>
and yes.........
I happen to have a soul but i love the southpark episode.
I only appear tanned when the freckles connect without the freckles I'd sorta baste into this pale pink hue which clashes with my nearly orange hair .
It's taken me yrs to accept having this color  .I loved what SB added about what it takes to define us as a redhead not just the color tone on a box but so much more and can't be bought!

As a youngster I always got teased for having red hair.  Dang, kids are mean little shits!   So, I guess being a red head is a cool thing now but it sure wasn't back in the day.  I've seen some very attractive men with red hair, it's just not as common I guess, or at least in my neck of the woods.

my hair has gone through several (natural) colors throughout my life.  I was born white blonde.  as I got older, it went to dirty blonde, light chestnut, dark chestnut, dark chestnut w/ red, and dark auburn.  I think it's more of a dark brown now (although I tend to keep it colored dark auburn).
As kittin said, kids will pick on anyone perceived as different.
I have a hereditary bone thing. called 'nail patella syndrome' .. visibly different (NPS).  I hated school - and any self esteem issues I have stem from my school years. Fortunately, my NPS isn't as extreme as it could be (no webbing at the elbows, I can walk flat-footed instead of tiptoe).

oops.. sorry..Kittin's comments sent me off on this tangent..

back to your regularly scheduled thread!

I never noticed anything different about you... ok.. other then your comparitively pocket sized stature... *so cute*

I could just fold ya up and put ya in my pocket. *smiles*

Greedy, kids are often terribly cruel to one another. Everyone on this earth has something beautiful about them and yours is not only visible, but radiates from within.

People who have something distinct about them tend to be a focus for others, usually out of curiosity. Red hair is one such thing and which I personally find very attractive regardless of gender. I adore seeing carrot topped babies/small children running around. I'm extremely attracted to men with ginger coloured hair - haven't yet quite worked out why! If they are copper blond (Boris Becker) then my goodness! I also love to see flashes of red in a man's facial hair...

And as for freckles...

SWOOOOONS!

I'm a natural light auburned lady, but I never get any freckles and I think they are truly adorable.
