I knew all you sick fucks would pick Divinyls.........I did too.

BTW, Level there are SEVERAL songs on this list that make me wanna do really violent shit cause of the massive hatred they drag out GRRRRRRRR. SHIT MUSIC.

I do however like the four non blondes song even though I've heard it a zillion times, mang.

Heh heh........ I like 'em all, that's part of the picking process too.

Michael W. Smith is not a one-hit wonder.  Maybe in the standard pop charts, but he's won three Grammy Awards and had quite a few Grammy nominations; he's also had quite an impressive list of Dove Awards.

Yes, i used to be into Christian Contemporary; hell, i used to be an ordained minister. LoL.  Time changes much.

Hey there darch. I know he's had huge success in the CC world, but I'm looking at what they all did in the mainstream, more or less.

KD Lang.

She is insanely popular in the Country scene.. and esp in Canada. She has been in many film sountracks... but she never caught on in the US ( too butch I guess.. all of our female pop stars have to be "fuckable" *chuckles* )

Lang ranked #33 on VH1's 100 Greatest Women in Rock & Roll in 1999 and #26 on CMT' 40 Greatest Women in Country Music in 2002, one of only eight women to make both lists. The others were Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, Linda Rondstadt, and Lucinda Williams.
In 2003, she won her fourth Grammy Award, this time for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for her collaboration with Tony Bennett, A Wonderful World.

She isnt my fave of all time.. but she has a large and impressive body of work.

But I would pick her out of the bunch.

Gwyn

It did take a bit for her to gain mainstream popularity here at first. For awhile, she was more known for her wackiness as her first appearance on the Juno awards, she had this funky hair cut and wore a wedding dress and cowboy boots  LOL.

Soooo ... how many  "SERVANT" albums do you own?

(-  Got into "Xtian Rock" during that period in the mid-80s where I only dated daughters of clergymen ... If I'm going to hell for anything it's for deflowering a minister's daughter in the chapel at the methodist bible camp I used to attend every summer. -)

God, that Randy Vanwarmer song was the saddest, wasn't it?  I loved it and "Pop Muzik" as a youngin' but "Constant Craving" is great too.  Finally, had to go with "4 Non Blondes" because their song was the shit during one of my college years and we wore it out on a great road trip.  Such great memories and hearing it takes me back............luci
