This is serious. Should I cut them really short, so I don't pop through the latex gloves, or should I keep them long, so I can leave deep scratches on my concubines?

Breathlessly awaiting your expertise.

Men with long nails just look creepy.  If the Cryptkeeper look is what you seek, go for it.  Or if looking like Rupaul is your thing, keep 'em long.  I wouldn't be with a guy who has nails longer than mine.

Trim them... even trimmed if you dig deep, you can leave lovely scratches.  I agree with DRH... long nails on a man is creepy.  *thinks... there's always a little knife play he he he he.

Well kept and shortish, but still long enough for those scratches. But above all, well buffed, no sharp edges.

See? I found the thread!

Um, yeah, does seem suspiciously similar, does it not? One has to ask why this thread ended up here, when other randomly stupid threads remain in Off-Topic Discussion.

You know, like "How should I cut my hair?" or "New Icons!" or... well, I think y'all get my point. I just cannot get used to the randomness here at CM. WTF.

No more than 1/8th inch past the nail bed, well buffed to take out burrs and sharp edges.
That's My opinion, everyone else is entitled to their own
, so long as they agree with mine.

If you will be doing any "interior work," Union rules dictate trimmed and buffed. Hard hat is optional.

Best advice I've heard since "buy low, sell high" and "don't pick your nose while you're driving over railroad tracks".

My bench grinder should get them just where I need them to be.

Well, I might be using some "hand tools" to smooth some interior walls. I hear I should use water-based "treatments", too.

Now, I'm thinking I should use a miner's hat; you know, a hard hat with a lamp on it. Facilitates getting to those hard-to-see corners.

This inside work must not be rushed.

You can have your cake and eat it! I have very long nails and they don't pop through my latex gloves. Just be careful .. and keep them polished, of course!
