Alright this post has been an eye opener. I guess that I have been here for a while. Dumb me thought this place was just for chatting. I did'nt know that you could actually meet people in person thru it. All of this time I have been letting my excellent BS go to waste. Hey ladies I have great etchings on my walls. Want to come and see them. Better to start late than never.

2.5 years. The longest was 3 mos with one guy I met pretty early on. My interest in finding someone has waxed and waned. I've probably spent about 1.5 of those years really looking. The rest of the time has been reading, listening, learning or sometimes just taking a break.

i joined 06/22/07, my Dominant contacted me in early August 2007, we met, He became my trainer because i was so new and made a few mistakes, one that could have really harmed me. On, February 25th 2008 He put me offered me a 30 day trial collar and on March 25th i became His and we are going strong.
i have met others on here, one who wasn't good at all, that was my huge mistake. One that i am still really good friends with, He did alot of my "firsts" and i love Him as a good friend even though we don't play anymore.
i also have a few online friends that i met through CM and some RT female sub friends that i met on CM.
i haven't change profile names, although i do have a second one looking for a certain thing and i update regularly.

ive been here about 7 months and while i haven't had any serious lasting relationships, ( i met a few people that didin't completly work out) it did really help me in looking at myself and deciding what it really is that i am. what i like, don't like, things that other people do, things like that. This site sort of opened the door and gave names to all the things i was feeling. So it has helped me in a way, i just haven't found a partner yet. (^^)

Well I've been here just under 3 years. I joined in June 2005. Met a Dom not long after, we were in a relationship for about 7 months. It ended under good terms just issues we could not work through together.

My current Dom, I started talking to in November or December 2007 and we just moved in together last week. So I'd say it's going well so far *S*

Between the first and this one I talked to and met some interesting people that just were not compatable but doesn't mean they aren't great people for someone else. Some have even become friends of mine. I only ran into a couple of seriously creepy people. Met one in person (bad mistake, good learning experience) the other one I figured out he was creepy before i met him. (see previous learning experiences are a good thing lol)

I'd have to say on a whole, I've had really good luck here on CM. Made some wonderful freinds, and met two fabulous men that I got to spend some meaningful time with and with luck the current one will be around for a very long time.

i joined CM in August 07. i had looked at the site several years ago, but at the time i was digging bondage.com, so did not bother signing up. there were a lot of changes at b.com making it nearly impossible to communicate with other members. since being here, i have exchanged a ton of mail and met in person several Dominants. there really are some nice people here. at this time, i have been communicating with a Dominant that looks promising. he will be coming to cali in April and we will see.

no matter what CM is entertaining and hey i even learn stuff...so it is all good!

Ive been here just under two years. I met someone on B.com around that time and we have been together ever since. Ive had two other D/s relationships with a sissy maid and a house boy whom I met off this site. The sissy maid lasted several months andmy house boy is still in my service. I expect I will meet plenty more people and make many more friendships one way or another. I don't think this site is full of people wanting fantasty only though I am sure there are some. Just be realistic and don't settle for what you know deep down won't work. I would rather take ten years finding the perfect person than be with a dick.

I arrived here as Morgaine289 on the at the beginning of July in 2005, after some time at literotica. I exchanged interesting emails with members here from overseas, some of my german friends i lured to collarme and some other lifestylers from the german scene i discovered here.

I have been a member of this site for a little over a year. I met someone within a week, and we really hit it off at first. We were together for a year and just recently split up. If I read a message that interests me, I will look at the profile. It's always disappointing when nothing is filled out, and there is no pic. I want to know more than age/sex/location.

If you expect this site to work for you, then you must put some effort into your profile. If you're afraid to share what it is you're really looking for, you'll likely never find it. A list of demands sounds repulsive, and a list of what you don't want still doesn't tell us what you do want! "I'm looking for the one" is a rather vague statement unless you tell us what qualities your ideal candidate will possess. My advice is to say as much as you possibly can instead of the bare minimum required to have a profile.

We met on a similar site and have been living together now almost a year ~ I was on the other site about 5 years and he was on for about 3. I know that he met many subs from that site but none went long term. I met one other Dom and it lasted 4 years.

Been here 7 months on this site with no connections ...not that there could not have been, but I decided to back out due to logistics/distance , I am also a member of another site and most connections are from there , some just face to fave meets, other short relationship with no plans for longterm, one there was but compatibility issues eventually cropped up and the current was involved first as friends for about 4 months and now a couple months into relationship.

Been here since some time in 06. I've met 3 men from here. Had a couple of fun dates with a couple of them, and had a short-lived relationship with one of them.

I've also made connections with a couple of females that have developed into friendships that I've come to value. :)
