Master desires a cat-o-nine tails and i am researching online stores that sell them. does anyone have one that you are especially fond of? if so, please share where you acquired it. i prefer a store in the states as W/we would like to receive it within a week of purchasing it.

She makes some absolutely beautiful floggers and cats.

I bought a white bison skin flogger from her, and I'm getting a cat, with the leather to match the flogger.. handle and everything. She was very quick to get mine out to me as well, they are all hand made, but she must be really fast at it or something.. haha. I think I got mine maybe 4 days after I sent her the email?

Really beautiful stuff though, they can do any color you like.

Status: offline 		g> i would first ask what it is your looking for in a cat as they are not all the same . ask yourself and your Master what feel  you  wish , there are beaded cats , diff sized braided cats , cats with talons  on the end , knotted cats , then there is the material itself to consider ,leather ,latex, rubber , bison ,latigo ,deer ,elk etc ..Then also the length is the person tall who is going to be using it average  hight and reach or short ?what about the handle , metal ?wooden ?insertable ?
all things to think about for many years of happy use .

much appreciation for sharing the snakepit website. you, lovely lady understood my question and responded with precisely what i needed. (*_*) Master will settle for nothing less than excellent quality - and the items offered at the site you recommended appear to be top-notch in my humble opinion. my Owner is an expert in the use of canes, cat-o-nine tails, the singletail, noose and more. His preference is for items that are severe and His knowledge and experience in instruments of torture simply put....thrills me!

i simply serve as the conduit, providing Him links to websites which is yet another way i serve Him. you have helped me and again, i thank you.

I would echo this suggestion. I'm actually looking to got a pair of matching balanced floggers, a cat and possibly another whip (already have one from another leather worker) from Victor. I've had a chance to check out his work in person and it really is top notch quality. If I'm going to drop several hundred down on a new toy I'm only going to do so with someone that produces high quality gear.

Status: offline 		Am I strange in that I would love to find a beautiful flogger/cat such as the ones mentioned previously, but I would prefer synthetic materials??  Yeah, I know, I will totally eat anything with a face, I own leather shoes and purses (after all, cow is mighty tasty) but I don't exactly relish the thought of a playtoy that is made from kangaroos.  Or bison.  Any thoughts?

Status: offline 		i live in Indiana and we have several good makers but there is one on this site that does everything by hand and she specializes in custom made leather work! she has one she calls Kong for a reason, it takes me two hands to move the thing! her id is cutesub4Him.

Status: offline 		I actually used to make these.. I'm going to try and run down a roo hide supplier. Cowhide just doesn't cut it for these.

Yeah, i can make you one out of colorful nylon cording, or cowhide, or even suede (that stuff is heavy once it's woven or braided), or even out of cloth. Really, whips and floggers and stuff can be made out of anything once you know the basic skills to make them.

Status: offline 		Second the recommendation for the cat made by Victor Tella at snakewhip.com  The only others I have seen of that quality have to be ordered from Australia and with the fall of the US dollar are no longer a better buy.

The original material for a cat-o-nine was hemp rope, they originated as a punishment tool in the British Navy.  Such a toy is VERY severe.  You can still get one made the old way here:  http://www.aswgt.com/navycat.html

They also make "cats" out of various other materials for thos who don't want leather.
