Once again, I would like Linea to take her big rig and run over my boss. If it weren't for the fact that Daddy and I carpooled today, I would've walked out. This dumbass started fussing at me this morning and wouldn't let me tell him that the technician was on his way in to check out the new phone system that was put in on Friday. Finally, I very calmly said, "I'm not going to argue with you" in an attempt to disengage from his tirade. That pissed him off and he screamed, "Tell it to HR!" and slammed the phone on me. The HR director told me that he wanted me written up and I said, "I don't care. Do it. Do me one better and fire me. I'll have the VA Employment Commission in here within a week on the grounds of hostile workplace environment, sexual harassment, vulgarity, screaming obscenities at employees, and anything else that I can find a witness willing to second me on." She looked at me like she swallowed a bug because she knows that I am a paralegal by trade and worked on a huge wrongful termination law suit at a firm I once worked for, and she knows that I know how to get it done. I hate confrontation, but am not afraid of it, and even worse, I hate proving to people that my words are not threats, they are promises.
