There's no protocol.  Not that I know of, anyway.  It's for anyone who frequents the "Mistress" forum who wishes to weigh in for the month.  Engage with the group dynamics.  Ask for, or give support.  Or, just rant.

MistressVnus, thank you for the roll call - and I have been waiting to hear from MsC how her new little Goddess is doing - I know we all are wondering and wishing her well.

elan, can't speak for everyone, but IMO - anyone who posts regularly to this forum should be able to post to roll call - I know there has been news from both Dommes and  subs over the past month - darChlydes collaring - we were all so happy to hear about!

As for me...business is good, and things with my boy are progressing - I had a birthday last month, 39 - and told him I would marry him before I turned 40. The relationship has become very REAL and more Vanilla than D/s - but that is life, and I am trying not to be such a control freak, and trust that he does love me - not letting my past bad relationships caution me to the point that I lose the best thing I have ever had. It has been a difficult transition for me, to not have control over certain things in his life that he has had problems with (his kid, work). I am planning to move into his home at the end of next month though. My kids absolutely love him - and in fact my 10 year old, who didn't even like the idea of me dating again not too long ago, pulled me aside and told me "Mother, do not scare him away!"

We have been performing quite a bit at Fetish clubs/events - and even had our first paying gig: I dance on his flesh in 6" stilettos - balancing with a freestanding pole, but it is HOT - the whole routine - me forcing him to worship my boots, then kicking him to the floor, and he also has a board he lays under on the dance floor - I coerse other women to dance with me and so far he's taken well over 500lbs. We have also just started shooting videos for a website. It has become the only time we play - to work - but we are hoping to do something we both enjoy and make a business out of it at the same time. Since we have not had much play time - we are having a play party - starting the planning for 5/10. I am giving a demo with him at another play party next weekend - and we have promised to try to find time between our kids, work, and all of lifes stress to have a "D/s date night".

I have continued to learn and laugh reading the forum posts, and thank all of the regular posters for the impact you may not realize you have on my life [sm=cheerleader.gif] (and love the new emoticons LOL)

My dear elan, like everything else, the roll calls are free game.

As to the past month, and looking forward to April, things are cruising right along for the "P" family.  Yes, the military thing does effect us here, but we do our best not to let too much of the worries of tomorrow spoil today.  It is definitely spring in GA (sorry to those of you in colder climates) and to be honest, it is the best time to live here.  (That is if you don't have allergies.)  The blossoms are everywhere.  The landscape is alive with color.  Lilacs, which are a paricular favorite of Mine, have come out in full glory.

I suppose the two biggest developements that have come about since the last roll call fall into the one good, one bad scenerio.  In the positive, I was elected Chair of the board of our little group here.  I was rather honored by that, considering that I've only been active in this community for a couple of years.  It's been a while since I served the BDSM community in an official capacity, but I feel good about the prospect.  For those of you who have had this particular experience, I know you'll agree that it can be a challenging, yet rewarding year that I look forward to.

As to the not so good, after sitting here considering it for a while, I think I'll keep that one to Myself for a bit.  Yes, I've finally found that thing too personal to talk about on a message board, at least for now.

And, as for your statement above, I'm finding it best to keep MANY things a bit more private these days.  So, I can relate there as well.

Just sticking my nose in to say hi. I haven't been on CM very long, so am trying not to make too many waves. I have a wicked sense of humor and sometimes my posts don't come across the right way. I do not have much RT experience, so cannot contribute on that score. But my interest is real, I've had cyber experience, and am just starting to get a little involved with a local group. My "problem", as it were, is that I've been married for 25 years to a very vanilla guy who I'm wildly in love with. Sometimes I'm so torn I don't know what to do. But, as everyone else does, I deal.

So hi to everyone, and I hope to get to know you all better.

March was interesting -- I left my job at the beginning of the month since they wanted to have me doing the work of four employees and still only pay me a pittance compared to what I deserved for a salary, in favor of studying for my associate of science degree in funeral services.  Here's to hitting the books!

My darling boy spent a week with me at the beginning of the month.  It'll be our last visit until the end of May or early June, when we begin the rest of our lives together.  I'm so excited! 

Oh, and I dropped about 25 pounds of weight that I had gained due to my illness.  I've got another 20 to go before I'm back down to what I was before I got sick.  Sitting at a size 9 now down from a size 12-ish and hoping to be back to a size 5 by the summer!  Although I've still got a pretty massive rack to contend with... yeesh, when are these suckers going to shrink back down to a manageable, non-back-spraining size?

And I got my level 70 holy paladin into a raiding guild!  Epic loots for me... I was present for our first full Gruul's Lair clear and our first Magtheridon downing supplying the sweet healz, bwahahaha!  So proud...

I'm alive and still trying to recover from this hideous lupus flare... but getting there.  I've received well wishes and inquiries from several sweet people and do appreciate each and every one of them.

Not sure that I will stay in Texas.  I like the area, the people and the weather but I do miss not being closer to my family. 

My Domme daughter is in England traveling with her lovely finace/sub and is due to return in July.  I am living vicariously thru her travels right now and loving all the pics she sends me.

I am enjoying reading the very thought-provoking posts, just don't always have enough energy to pull together a reply~~

besides celebrating a birthday this month (on 21st), i'm currently enjoying how my D/s relationship with my pet is growing. where it lead to, well - we're going to let time and patience decide that. for now, it's fun learning what we both like/dislike in and out of the kink.

Heh….Mistress Venus got me too!…..An out loud “ What!?”…..<laugh>….

Anyway it’s definitely Spring here.    Not the place to be if you have allergies but damn sure pretty.

Best of all, the ocean is finally warm enough to go in without a wetsuit.  Bout time to replace the rigging on the catamaran! 

Actually though, it’s been a fairly warm winter so other than all the blossoms the biggest indicator of Spring in St Aug is all the spring breakers running around on the beach in string bikinis.  Too young for me though so of course I never look…..

Hmmm.  Just got back from a whirlwind dash through a few European cities with my oldest childe, busting my hump desperately to catch up on work and get ready for an extended work-stay in Greece this summer, and taking exquisite pleasure in wearing a new pair of deep blood-red, elbow-length Florentine leather gloves on dressy occasions.

I'm completely exhausted and deliriously happy.  Life is delicious.
