ChemistryMaster1 -> Weight problem (4/1/2008 6:17:24 AM)

Greetings!!

First of all, I do not and will not judge a person by the shell they come in; they are all beautiful creations from God.

Now here is my Question:

Will a Dom/Master lie to his/her Sub to make him/her feel better about his/ her weight?

I am really learning something new here everyday and pardon me if I posted silly topics which may not interest many people.

If someone lied to me about my weight or appearence, and I knew they did or found out, I would not be with them.

lies are one of our hard limits

Lies belong NOWHERE in BDSM.

trustedintx -> RE: Weight problem (4/1/2008 6:24:32 AM)

i have a weight problem, one that i would love to have someone help me with.  my last real life owner did nothing about it because he found it sexually stimulating that i was large.

online owners in the past have always indicated that if things moved to real time then they would control this aspect of my life and ensure i physically became what they wished.

i know i am fat, and not particularly politically correct, so it would be difficult for someone to lie to me about it.

Why would you lie? That's a definite breach of trust! The MAIN ingredient in a successful relationship, whether it's Vanilla/or BDSM. What else would you be lying about, i, as your sub, would wonder?

And yet they exist.  Here is a fine example of one.

You don't have to lie to make someone feel better about themselves, be it their looks, their weight, their general personality, etc. There are ways to get into your sub's head, figure what makes him/her tick and use it to make her feel better about herself. Lying serves no purpose and you will more than likely, at some point, make an innocent comment that's honest and contradict the lies you've told. Then not only does the sub feel bad about knowing your true feelings about the weight, or whatever, but now she doesn't trust you either.

Better to be honest, or find another way to bolster the esteem. Don't lie, it ALWAYS bites you in the ass.

Dnomyar -> RE: Weight problem (4/1/2008 6:31:01 AM)

How about if we fib a little and fudge a few pounds. No one ever guesses my real weight anyway.

metalmiss -> RE: Weight problem (4/1/2008 6:45:02 AM)

my Master wouldn't.. He tells it how it is & is direct with it in a nice way.

He wouldn't lie about how He saw me to make me feel better about my size, or anything for that matter.. The entire concept of a lie is fundamentally wrong to Him, no matter what the reason..
If He thought my size or weight was a problem He wouldn't be with me in the first place..
So whats the point in blowing sunshine up my arse?
Besides.. At least this way, when He complements me on i KNOW its genuine.

Thank you!!

Let us be clear on this one:

a. subtle hints do not work.
b. Strong hints do not work.
c. Obvious hints do not work.
d. Just say it!

One can listen, but not understand what is beeing said

If I found out someone was lying to me it would hurt me more than someone just telling me I was a fatty. >.<;

BlackPhx -> RE: Weight problem (4/1/2008 7:13:37 AM)

Welll...since I am capable of using both a mirror and a scale I suspect I would know if he was lying to me. Actions however speak louder than words. Hell I am more critical of my appearance than he is though for some reason he loves taking me from groomed to a fashion wreck just before we are ready to go out the door or while in transit in the car. Hair neat and done..his hands..Tina Turner strikes again. Garments neat, clean, sexy..his hands and sigh, tuck, brush and dang it..you left hand prints!!! So I am guessing he likes me even at this weight.

There is however a difference between lying about someone appearance and being polite. I will say a dress does not flatter someone rather than you look like 50 lbs of sausage in a 10 lb bag, or that color does not suit you rather than you looked like you died of some horrid disease. Does this make me look fat..should not be responded with no, you make you look fat.

Encouraging weight loss doesn't have to be cruelly done, but you don't have to lie either. Tell the truth, but don't use the Clue x4 unless you really need to. Sometimes it can be as simple as..I can't wait for you to be able to wear this for me (a dress or corset 1-2 sizes smaller) at so and so to motivate a sub/slave and positive reinforcement can work wonders.

But Lie..not to this gal. I can see the truth for myself.
