Lemme see,half a millimeter of extremely fragile rubber......prone to defects and relatively ineffective against viruses(it's porous it that level) right,I'll trust my life to that...............

I think I find the idea of NOT using condoms as an excuse to engage in casual sex in uncommitted sport f**king to be MORE appealing overall.

Hmmm, condoms, I hate them, I am so allergic to latex it's not funny~! And those sheep skin ones sure break/rip easy. Even toys that have any latex in them, I react too.....it's blows,..lol{t&C}
I had a hysterectomy a few years ago, so once I find "one" to be monogamous with, and we know we are both "safe" it won't even be an issue.

Sheepskin don't prevent STDs either. Latex allergies are not fun at all. Have you tried polyurethane?

then your using a cheap brand. I've had two split in me in 2 years.

Actually I always get the "cheap brand" and I've only had 2 split on me in 9 years (thankfully, both before actual penetration), and ROUGHLY I've gone through 400 in my lifetime.

However, I always use latex or polyurethane, I don't have any experience with the sheepskin.

Are you talking about sheepskin (which is slightly porous and thus prone to transmission) or latex (which is not porous) condoms?

We all have to decide what risks we are willing to take in life. I've done serious research on condoms, on safe sex, on immunizations, on pregnancy risks. There is always a risk factor, and we each have to decide for ourselves what risks we consider reasonable.

I don't get this? People use "not using a condom" as an excuse to engage in casual sex and sportfucking?

I know I engage in casual sex regularly, and only occasionally get myself into a game of sportfucking, but I always insist on condoms.

Interesting..... I used a well known brand and make sure they have all the kite mark stuff.

I've gone through about 200 in 8 months or so.

There are condoms made of polypropylene (Sp?) for people like you and I who are allergic to latex. Try them if you need to use one again. They not only don't burn me up, they seem to have more sensitivity to them.

Mistress and i are poly... with Her we use no protection at all.. with a 3rd or 4th party or anyone else... its protection to the max... its just the way it is.... there is to much for us to lose not to .. we like being alive......

Oh Yeah,
the sheep skin condoms DO NOT prevent the spread of aids. Being they are real flesh the disease goes through them.

The actual point I was making is that I simply won't trust my life and safety to JUST a fragile latex appliance. Did you know that most std tests do NOT cover herpes,for instance? You have to specifically ASK for it to be included as an extra. And something like one in ten americans is infected with it?

And that new results are finding that it sheds from the skin AROUND genital areas,even without there being outbreaks of sores? And CAN spread from that contact? THIS is one of many reasons I do NOT trust either tests OR condons to keep me disease free. The only thing in this day and age that really WILL is thinking with your head,rather than your genitals folks.

And NOT taking for granted that a thing like a condom is a cure all that excuses you from thought, and careful screening of those you might want to risk fluid exchanges with.

You could decide to never venture out for the rest of your life, just in case someone outside MAY have a cold.

The choice of a full medical screening isn't available for a casual fumble in most cases so condoms suit me fine.

Tests don't keep anyone disease free, however, screenings, if applied properly can be effective at detecting problems.

I agree. Just like a safety belt isn't going to keep your ass alive if you drive 90 mph on icy roads. But that doesn't mean a safety belt isn't effective and necessary.

Note that I never said that I don't USE condoms-more that I prefer to be in a stable monogamous relationship where I don't NEED them.

It simply puzzles me that people seem to view them as a cure all-when they are not.

Oh well,I guess it returns to individual priorities. I simply can't justify getting infected with something I can't get rid of,for fifteen minutes of fun with someone I barely know.

Makes sense to me. I prefer to be an active slut in a stable polyamorous relationship.

I agree, sex should never be a simple choice in the beginning, whether it is with one person or 100. I've done the hard work of research to start out, now it's just a matter of keeping up with the new stuff. Because I've done that work, and worked out the decision for myself, I can feel free to have sex or not whenever the opportunity arises.

But I would certainly advise research before romping. And IMO if you aren't in a long term monogamous situation where full testing has been done appropriately, condoms shouldn't be a choice, they are simply a matter of fact.

Makes sense to me. For me I decided the behavior and risks were definitely justified and enjoy it thoroughly.

Responsible choices rule-they let you live out your life span. I don't care what dynamic people prefer,really. Just that they THINK about the possible consequences of what they DO.
