Status: offline 		2 weeks ago, one poll had Hillary up by 26 points in Pennsylvania. Today, that same poll has Obama up by 2 points. That's a 28 point swing in 2 weeks?

You have to wonder if some great deception is taking place here.... I'm no statistics major but I have to question any type of poll that shows that big of a swing in such a short amount of time. Something seems fishy....

Status: offline 		I question any poll.  I think people should just shut their mouths and stop blabbing at every little question.  Our votes are supposed to be private.  But they aren't.  People even disclose who they voted for ( supposedly) as they are exiting the polling places. 
And we think we aren't being manipulated?  Anyone can publish anything they want. 
And the sheeple continue to be swayed.  We let everyone else do our thinking for us, and then we wonder what went wrong?

Status: offline 		You should be sceptical of polls in general. A poll showing that 80% of people think we are in a recession just means that 80% of people asked are dopes.

Status: offline 		Polls!  There's an episode of Yes Minister (a BBC production) that constantly pokes fun and the british government system.  It was so populare they made a sequel, Yes Prime Minisiter.  There was a debate occuring about bringing back conscription ... so Sir Humphry a principal character ... when asked if a poll should be conducted to find out the 'mood of the people' responded
'Certainly what answer do you want?'
he then proceeded to ask a series of what appeared to be unrelated questions and the last one was 'Are you in favour of Conscription?' because of the way all the previous questions were phrased the only answer you could give without souding hypocritical was 'Yes'
he then did the same thing and the only answer you could give was 'No'.
Ever since then, when I hear that a poll showed .. i want to know how the data was collected before i give it any credence ... particularly polls on contentious issues, sucha as politics ... and as House says Everyone Lies

The DNC wants the show to be over. Her 'Bullets Over Bosnia' speech didn't help either. People expect lies, but to vote for someone who has can have their lie played while a visual of the truth is playing in the background is a bit much to ignore.

But I don't expect her to go away. She's the heir apparent to Ted Kennedy and will be a fixture in the Senate for the next 30 years.

Since presidents in this country are appointed not elected of course it is bullshit.  But then you knew that.  But you just needed to start another thread to tell us all once again how much you hate the demopubs.
