ORIGINAL: smilingjaguar I'm the friend people come to when they want the truth no matter the cost; that's who I've always been. I'm also the one they DON'T ask when they want someone to confirm their delusions. I'm not going to say or think something about you I won't tell you to your face. In some ways if lubegirl isn't really a wanker she needs to know how her style of posting for lack of a better word affects how others receive what she has to say. Right now she's a sitcom punchline that no one can take seriously. All of us catty subs could keep quiet and laugh in emails on the other side, but she'd never understand why she wasn't part of the group or what she was doing that was causing it. Is it a harsh lesson? Sure. Would I want someone to keep their mouths shut and let me be the unknowing punchline of a joke? Hell no. I can relate; calling a "spade a spade" has been my way, too, which is not politically correct (awww) in general and (on CM) has rubbed probably a few too many (mostly Doms) the wrong way. So that would be my "style", as you're entitled to yours and as lubegirl is entitled to hers - purple prose et al (with reference to xxblushesxx' post). Btw, on that and just to digress, a simple tip: Don't like a particular font colour? Then just click and drag your mouse over it (ie, highlight it) - takes all of a second to make any colour legible.... Generally, I'm one for reading between the lines myself, but that's a matter of grey areas and of personal perception, speculation and interpretation etc. So I'm not so forthright at calling that spade a spade when I can't actually know. It becomes conspiracy theory and, at its worst, degenerates to mob rule when others join the collective bandwagon. Whether or not the OP is a "fake" or whatever, it's the kind of conjecture I loathe and prefer to concentrate on the topic at hand.... Even if an OP (any OP) is a "clever" fake thread (one of the reasons I no longer post at bondage.com, btw), often the phony topic can hold valid points that will lead me to respond in sincerity anyway.... Trouble here is that the more "evidence" different posters discern from lubegirl's posts or profile, the more they validate each others prejudices of fakes and wankers. Now that's a spade I'll call...! I've enjoyed our banter. Focus.
