I don't see BDSM as a lifestyle, I see it as a bunch of activities that people engage in. If you are referring to people engaged in D/s and M/s relationships, or a "community" of kinky folks, no, you will not find this group as a "whole" to be more honest, better at communication, more loyal, more accepting or possessing more integrity. That is a myth that gets perpetuated frequently. We have just as many shortcomings and character flaws as the rest of the world....sometimes I think they are even more commonly found here. Oh and...the relationships had here are no deeper, more emotional, more committed, more etc.....
