Brats are just like little kids we like to play and push buttons test our limits and I'm sure some of us are just trying to get punished or seeking attention. I don't want to be a brat...I would feel weird getting attention in that way. I rather hope the attention comes (~cough~) indedpendant of my initiation. I don't know...playful is fun, but "Brat" to me, connotes a purposeful , willful instigation without regard to his intention. But that's just one viewpoint.

I set the Parameters and I set the Rules. Admittedly, I take into consideration someones personality etc, and within those limits there is a time and place for some teasing. The slave's job is to know when it is the right time to tease and when it is time to obey without arguement. For the chronic attention demanding brat, there is the door assuming she got that far. There is no place in mj life for attention getting brats.

Are you saying that because *you* can't deal with a "brat", then the problem must be with the brat because they apparently have no idea where their collective heads are?
 
Brattiness certainly does amount to attention seeking!  It also amounts to disrespect if it's ongoing, but here's a thought....
 
D/s is a control based dynamic which works best when the Dom/me is in charge.  I for one do NOT subscribe to passive dominance.  I believe that if someone is to call themself "Dominant" (the one who is meant to be in charge) then they should proactively take charge rather than just leave everything to the submissive to behave and obey blah blah.... 
 
It's all very well to lazily accept a submissive's service but they have needs, too, such as a desire to be *dominated* in return - and a D/s dynamic is born.  And when they don't get that, it leads to doubt and disrespect - and a brat is born, instead.
 
Now (Box 1), you can always stamp your feet in frustration (your thread title comes to mind here) or,
 
(Box 2) you can follow RavenMuse's advice and "dismiss" this brat and thus find one who apparently appreciates what amounts to his version of passive dominance or,
 
(Box 3) you can live up to the "Male Dominant" tag you've chosen for yourself and damn well take charge of this alleged "brat". 
 
Box 1 gets you nowhere other than looking like a goose, Box 2 gets you alone, probably in perpetuity and Box 3 gets your Dominant credentials to ANTE UP!
 
A hint:  Try Box 3 and see how long the brattiness lasts....  BATTER UP!!!

Petty game playing, attention seeking bullshit maybe found 'fun' by you? I enjoy a spirited girl, banter, fun.... but won't tollerate disrespectful behaviour, attempts to manipulate or top from the bottom, playing the 'punishment game'. Attempts to brat get closed down..... continual attempts to brat will get the girl kicked out out the door.

you seem to portray it as undominant that someone isn't willing to tollerate such crap... I consider it undominant to do so. So long as your way works for you, good luck with that.

I dealt with it by establishing rules of conduct and standing by them. There were certain behaviors I had no patience for, and I was far more creative in my punishments than spankings. When my sub at the time came to the realization that I wasn't going to budge from the rules I'd established, we sat down and had a talk about what she'd expected me to be as compared to what I actually was. Bottom line, she was looking for a vanilla relationship with kinky toys. I wasn't that man. It ended up that we went our seperate ways, but far better that than to be in a relationship that was not satisfying to me.
