1 is one of the Star Wars movies

2 is the best movie of all time, The Crow

no idea on the rest, didn't feel like googling them

Well, I know #1 is The Empire Strikes Back with Yoda telling Luke that. I told my ex that once and he never got it - though he claimed to be a big Star Wars fan.

#5 is from The Ref, but I believe the word "Mom" goes at the end of the first sentence, after "next year".

#4 is Lilo and Stitch, when Lilo is explaining to her hula teacher why she is late. She was out of peanut butter and had to get some, because all she had was tuna, and she could not feed tuna to pudge, because that would make her an abomination, because tuna is a fish.  And it is important that pudge be fed because pudge controls the weather.

Ok maybe there is a differant title in the US, is it the one where spacey and his wife want a divorce, they have the theif come in to hide out then the mother is a nightmare asking for payments on the house etc?

Correct!  to Death Note - and of course, it's a quote from all of them, the two live actions and the anime series, because that's how the note begins. 

I liked the Death Note live actions so very much.  What you think?

Regarding the other quotes:
W-ah!  If you can't get them, JAK, there may be no hope!  What should I do next?  Wait for more guesses or start posting clues?

KCherry, if you're responding to the quotes I posted, none of them are from a Blues Brothers movie.  It took me a minute to figure out why you guessed that - it's the name Elwood :D
