ORIGINAL: ChemistryMaster1 Thank you A/all for your replies whether they were doubts upon doubts in what I am telling you or a constructive Real comment where I can actually rely on. I said a young female in the main post and I didn’t say a child, also she is a grown ass woman or else why would I ask her for coffee? Geeeeeeeeeez, it is a true story and I would highly appreciate some truth where I can learn something from! Or perhaps you find it so hard to believe ‘because I deal with real ppl. Again Thank Y/you. hon, i dont doubt that it happened. its just the scenario is so damned out-of-this world. its hard to believe i met my ex after breaking my foot (he worked at the clinic on base, my dad was military). or that i met my now-husband because i was buds with his roommate and didnt want to be alone one weekend, so i was sleeping on their couch. true stuff, pretty unbelievable. in your shoes....i'd send out an invite for DAD to come over and tell you what he really meant, then take things VERY cautiously from there. perhaps have coffee with dad at the same coffeeshop. let him/them make the first move other than you being open to talk. just my $.02 kitten
