glancing at some profiles and this one caught my eye.
I am curious to learn, Is this a common way to think?
Here is His opening line:

Think for yourself and realize that there is NO exacts in this lifestyle NOTHING is a give in.

I am expected to be bi because I am a slave and I am to do my Master's will - but it is not mine.

At least he says it upfront so submissives who aren't bi can avoid him and not waste everyone's time. There is nothing wrong with him wanting a bi sub. Inferring that all submissives are bi is his only failing.

I am not bisexual; I will never be bisexual. I have absolutly no interest in having intimate/sexual relations with a woman.

However; if my owner was to decide that I WAS TO become intimate or to have sexual relations with a woman; I would do so. Not because it suddenly 'makes me bisexual'; but because he tells me to do something of this nature; as per our agreement; I do it. I do not have like it, I do not have to enjoy it; what' s more...he does not expect me to like or enjoy it for him. As long as I follow orders, that's all he wants.

It still does not make me bisexual though

Well, yes, it's pretty common. There are a heck of a lot of subs out there open to bisexual/homosexual play, at least for the pleasure of the dominant.

And there are plenty who are fine with being told who to have sexual contact with, knowing that actual orientation is irrelevant.

Unfortunately, like most things, this becomes extrapolated into some universal law.

Unlike you, tahlly, my owner would never tell me to be intimate with a woman. It is one of my hard limits and he does not violate those.

I agree, if it is a limit, it is not on the table.
Especially if it is a hard limit, that is how I operate anyway.

Ok, before we rip apart jon doe here, lets figure out what hes saying. Is he saying "you are submissive, so therefore bi" or is he listing what hes looking for in a partner? "I want a bisexual submissive"

This is sort of taken out of context, isnt it?

I totally respect hard limits, but I have to admit the thought of making two completely straight women go at it no matter how much they hated it, is really really hot. Im sure that isn't uncommon 'round these parts though.

I did not read it as "all submissives are bisexual."

But it should be noted that it doesn't mean the person BECOMES a bisexual- it simply means that they will have sex with who they are told to have sex with. I don't think you can order someone to change sexual orientation just because they make the rules.

I'd have to know the girl first I think. You bring home some random ho and expect something to happen? Not so much. I have a well founded paranoia of putting my face in random crotches, thanks. And asking me to plan something like that on a second email is a recipe for fail as well.

i don't understand why some people communicate "sub/slave". Submissives and slaves are not "one and the same" -- they have similarities.

i am a heterosexual female submissive. my choice is to not enter a relationship with a Dominant who has expectations of me having physical interaction(s) with a homosexual [neither female or male] inorder to be pleasing.

One of the best friends i have is gay. His sexual orientation and mine are different -- what is the same is that we highly care for and respect each other -- we value each others communications, listening, and hugs.

LA: I agree 100%. I don't think the fellow is particularly smart, I think he was using that phrase as shorthand for "I make the rules, you will sleep with both men and women."

endearing: What point were you trying to make on saying subs and slaves are different? There is no universal definition of either word, only what each one means to you and the other people you are in relationships with. Self-identifying a slave doesn't mean you have no choices, just as self-identifying as submissive doesn't mean that either. They only mean what YOU want them to mean, which is not necessarily what they mean to the brilliant dude in the original profile.

This person's opening line caught my eye, as well.

I understand your question, and a sub having a bi experience may be a common idea as a Dom requires the one submitting to him/her to obediently follow through with whatever the Dom desires, whether they are into the specified activity or not.

However, if one goes on to read this person's journal one will see...

"Then again, if you are not curious and possibly even a little averse to the activity, should you be forced to experience it?

Well, no."

So he is not specifically stating that submissives must be bi. It's better to read someone's entire statement and not take a sentence or two out of context.

This is identical to my situation, except I know that My Lord is hoping that I will enjoy it and actively seek it out in the future. I am, for my part, willing to keep an open mind and do as I'm told.

Bottom line: obedience does not equal bisexuality.
