kiwisub12 -> RE: Would you open the door (4/6/2008 8:23:29 AM)

usually by the time i find a robe, the people knocking have already gone.    Damn!   And my collar is sterling silver (metal allergies) so looks like jewelery. Even the people I work with have never asked why i never take it off.

CalifChick -> RE: Would you open the door (4/6/2008 8:37:52 AM)

People don't drop in on me unexpectedly, and good lord above, NOBODY has a key to my house. <shudder>

Sadisticforslave -> RE: Would you open the door (4/6/2008 9:06:08 AM)

Since 92 to 2007 my slave worn a steel collar around her neck all the time even to take a shower.  It was locked and only I had the key.  Only time we took it off was when she had to go to the ER because of pain with gallbladder and she ended up having to have it removed.  When she got out of the hospital the collar went back on.  Her family and friends have seen it and do not question it.  They know we are a Male Dom couple but don't know the details.  All they know and want to know is that their daughter, sister is happy and healthly.  yes she answers the door when I am not here and in her collar however she started having neck problems last year and I took it off.  that seemed to help with the neck problems so I have not put it back on.  she is still after all my property and slave even without the collar.  As to answering the door.  We live in the boon docks.  No one but us have a key to the door.  Family lives more then 2 hours away so they always call but others like delivery people come by and we used to have a problem with Jehovah's Witnesses coming by.  Understand that living out here where the response time for Police, Fire, EMS is at least 15 mins or more (used to be 30 mins or more but in the last few years it has gotten better and still it is more like 20 mins then not) it is up to us to help ourselfs and not depend on them.  That is why I answer the door or go out to meet someone in a car that has driven up with my 45 in my hand.  I can do this due to the fact that if you get within 4/10's of a mile of my house you are on my property.  This sloved the problem with Jehovah's Witnesses coming up.  They seem not to anymore.  I wonder why?  They never have a permit to solicit.  At least the ones used to come up don't and they always get upset when they see the 45 in my hand.  The friends that we have call before they come up as that is what we do in the boon docks.  Why drive so far to visit if the person you are visiting is not going to be there when you get there?  I taught my slave how to use my weapons and she has fired all of them and I also taught her how to hit what she is aimming at so she has access to the weapons too.  so people coming up is not a problem.  :)

You as a slave are locked in your collar (you do not have the key) and your Master or Mistress has left the house or apartment to run some errands.  A friend or family member decides to unexpectedly stop in for a visit.

Would you open the door and let them in?
Would you not answer the door?

Has this ever happened to you?

NO!!!!

It is probably a group of Jehovah's Witnesses setting you up for a big fall!!!!!

Well in that case, Id strip off everyhtin BUT the collar, stick a copy of mein kampf and the turner diaries on the coffee table, hang a confederate flag over the fireplace, and invite them in for tea....

but thats just me....

Funny you should mention that.  I had a male friend who usually walked around in his bathrobe.  When the Jehovah's Witnesses knocked, he made a point of peering through the peephole in his door, then opening the robe and planting his hands on his hips before opening the door.  It made... erm... quite the impression.

WillowRain -> RE: Would you open the door (4/6/2008 9:34:32 AM)

Yup, I'd open the door. I used to have a master's lock sitting on my sternum. I work with the public and got used to explaining it in various ways. If it was really an issue, or bothered the person on the otherside of the door, you always have the option to wear a shirt or sweater that hides it.

I used to tell vanilla people that the lock was a promise, that me and this other person had made a pact for complete and total honesty and that as long as that promise held, so would the lock.

Honestly, something smaller and more discrete would have been a lot kinder to me, and easier and better for my job, but the person I was in service to picked what he liked. He liked seeing and feeling in his hand the obvious weight of the lock and the chain. It made him happy, and I wanted the symbol for the connection, in whatever form it was offered in.

mmsprecious -> RE: Would you open the door (4/6/2008 9:47:27 AM)

i wear my collars in public anyway. i'm more concerned about needing to get it off should i end up needing an emergency mri or xray or something LOL one i have is locking, one is not.

MichiganHeadmast -> RE: Would you open the door (4/6/2008 9:51:38 AM)

Okay, you're locked in the cellar, and do NOT have the key.  Unless you can open the front door by remote control, doesn't that answer your question?

CheshireSmile -> RE: Would you open the door (4/6/2008 10:30:09 AM)

Personally I have a black leather collar with 4 studs on each side and a D ring in the middle which I wear even when I'm not in a relationship. It is mine. Personally mind and I tend to wear a lot of black anyway, so as someone above has already mentioned, throw on some "goth" apparel and pretend you're having a "dress up day".

I usually don't give a fuck what people think anyway. If they have an issue with a girl wearing a collar, it's their problem, not the sub's.

Thats why i have dogs , they can decide, and its always fun watching unwanted people drop their stuff and run .
If i was instructed as a collared  to do or not to do something that is what  is to be done no matter what i wear .

akisha -> RE: Would you open the door (4/6/2008 12:29:40 PM)

My sister dropped by when i was in collar once. took her about 10 minutes to actually notice it and when she did she was the one that blushed.

First off, if someone can't be bothered to call ahead and say they are coming (most ppl have cell phones these days) then I can't be bothered to answer the door. I tend to be a nudist in my home and most my freinds and family realize that.

The bad thing at the moment is lilbit is at the age she thinks she should answer the door lol hard to not answer when you have a 5 yr old yelling "mom, someones at the door"

I'm not ashamed of when I have a collar on, so I'd have no problem answering the door in one.

edited to add... it's not safe to be in a locked collar with out a key. You never know when something might happen that you have to get out of it fast.

Would you not answer the door?

Assuming I wasn't under orders to not open the door, I was fully clothed (or at least clothed to an extent the person would be comfortable with) and the sight of the collar wouldn't offend them, of course I would.

Not that specifically. When I had a collar in a previous relationship though, almost everyone saw me with it on. It didn't lock but I wore it to class, the store... everywhere really.

ownedgirlie -> RE: Would you open the door (4/6/2008 12:46:46 PM)

Most people  who know  me know if they want me to answer the door they should call first before coming over.  Otherwise, if they're still out there by the time I've looked through the peep hole to see who it is, gone to the bedroom to get dressed, and returned to answer the door, they might see me in the collar, depending on who it is.  My ex-father-in-law has enough on his mind, for example, so I probably wouldn't wear it if it was him.

I totally agree with that.  I also have a functional bondage collar that I wear for fashion with my goth outfits.  Sometimes I wear it around the house just for the fun of hearing the rings jingle.  If someone comes to -my- door, I will answer it dressed however I please.  I don't care what anybody thinks of what I'm wearing in my house.  Nobody has the right to come to my house and make judgements.
