Sure. My biggest annoyance is that I have to go find a robe first because I'm naked. This isn't because I'm ashamed of being naked, it's because of them. I also let them know that I kept them waiting because I was naked and needed to get a robe so they can fully appreciate just how nice I'm being for them. I wore a big black leather double studded row with a big O ring collar every day, everywhere for about three years. My family was relieved when I stopped, but wouldn't be surprised if I started again.

I can and do, on an almost daily basis. The collar on my neck is a stainless steel cylindrical collar. It locks with a tiny alan screw in the back. There is no way i can get it off myself. I wear it everywhere. Well, with the exception of my chiropractor visits, and when i had surgey 2 yrs ago.

This is the kind of issue that simply shouldn't (IMHO) present itself. Either your slave/sub should be able to handle people seeing her in whatever she's in, or she should be able and allowed to get out of it if necessary to be seen. Nobody can predict when the house next door is going to catch on fire or a chemical plant the next town over is going to have an explosion and people are ordered to evacuate on short notice.

Yes it has happened to me, my mother has come around, friends come around, handymen come around and I never think twice about opening the door just because my collar is on. I tend to dress in a gothy/alternative style anyway so it usualy just goes with what I am wearing but when I am wearing something 'normal' people just comment on what a nice unusual piece of jewellery it is. It may have a lock on the back but people don't notice that and collars are so common place as a fasion accessory these days thats its not an issue for me. Willow

My collar is black, I am a goth and wear all black, I wear it all the time the only comment I have ever had from vanilla people is that it makes my neck look long and elegant, quite a nice compliment. I would open the door if I had been told I might whilst He was out, I wouldn't if He hadn't said, but then, i'd only be waiting for Him to come home anyway - no-one else is important.

It is locked on and Mistress has one key and I have the other strictly for emergencies. It stays on no matter where I go or what I do, even in front of my mom and dad or friends. I even wear it to work. It's like a wedding ring to me. It's a stainless steel chain-type collar with a gorgeous nickle-plated lock. I wear it outside my shirt and let the lock dangle in plain view. I personally haven't had anyone react negatively because of it probably because people close to me say I have a very intimidating scowl most of the time. I'm just the type that doesn't really care what other people think. When I'm out and about in a vanilla setting, a complete stranger's opinion means very little to me.
