When the show fear factor was on the air and running strong i did put some bugs and creepy crawlies into some bdsm exchanges .One was done by just having a few jars of things like meal worms ,crickets , and worms then a female subbie was bound , shown the items and though it was only my fingers  touching her  the blindfold  gave her other impressions .
Yet others were done taping and wrapping opened glass jars to the skin while bound and allowing them  to just crawl about .
In no way would i ever subject another with out  consent  on this type of activity , some who witnessed this were freaked out enough .If done to an unwilling person that could trigger some damaging  land mines .I have also used leaches with interesting results .

i'm petrified of spiders and had a dom use one on me once in the most cruel way...i'm not into sadists and wasn't into him much after that but my fear of spiders is about 10 times worse than what it was and is now a hard limit of mine.

I had a Dom who did this with a month one time that was a little smaller than my hand, it scared the hell out of me! He knew bugs were and are a hard limit for me but did it anyway I lost all respect for him. I know I hate spiders too christine I hope it wasn't a tarantula[sm=bite.gif]

I've never seen bugs, though I saw a scene done once with a live mouse and an Elizabethan collar. That was interesting, though it seemed to piss off the lady in question more than terrify her.

Even as a Dominant I would safeword on even watching this scene ... I cant stand anything with tiny scurrying feet !!!!!!

I don't mind tiny scurrying feet.... as long as there are no more than 4 of them attached to one body!

i spoke to a sub/slave in Memphis whose dom was an entomologist - and used bugs to scene her. The one that freaked me out (and I admit, made me a bit hot- even though i would be yelling red!) was that he would catch wasps, and hold them to her nipples to sting them.           Hows that for sick - and hot.

Daddysredhead -> RE: bug torture (4/9/2008 6:53:53 PM)

I hate bugs, but since the whole single mom thing happened some years back, I had to suck it up and become the bug slayer in my house.  The only two that really, really bother me to the point of near tears are centipedes and crickets.

I lived overseas in a tropical country for a while years ago and my ex husband didn't tell me that they had extra large (10" from the tip of the front creepy legs to the tip of the back creepy legs) tarantulas that would wander in the house and crawl all over.  One night, I was putting my glasses on and flipping the light switch on, and a large thing I thought was a wall clock, went scurrying up the wall about 2 feet from my face.  I realized what it was and screamed my phukking guts out.  I jumped across the bed, stepped on my husband, ran into the living room, shrieking and crying.  My in-laws ran out and wanted to know what was wrong.  My husband told them it was a "house spider" that scared me.  (Because it's a big as a house!)  They got rid of it finally, but not before I hyperventilated and cried my guts out, while standing in the middle of their couch.  All the while, one of the nannies was telling the other one (in their native language), "Poor white woman, she's gone mad."   [X(]

Leatherist -> RE: bug torture (4/9/2008 6:56:32 PM)

Scenario.

Two small cups with screens on the ends.  Foam rubber seals. The cups are fitted into ear muffs, and strapped onto a sub. In each cup is a mosquito. The mosqito cannot touch her-but can be heard, And the slightest motion will make them fly.

My former master and mistress were sure into bug torture..

AquaticSub -> RE: bug torture (4/9/2008 10:49:44 PM)

~Fast Reply~

I'd have to call that a hard limit, not only because it grosses me out but because I know I couldn't control my failing and would most likely kill the bug in question.

Unless you were in no position to be able to kill the bug. [;)]

Anywhere other than Florida or Louisiana where the mosquitoes can wrestle you for your sub and win!
Bugs found in Florida:

Scorpions tiny little things not much to worry about..shake out shoes.

Palmetto Bugs..do not challenge, be polite when asking them to leave the house as they are willing to challenge a WWE Wrestler for the championship belt

Asian Cockroaches Bastards FLY

Hissing Cockroaches not what you want to hear when you go to bathroom at night

Mosquitos currently under consideration by American Airlines and Southwest as low maintenance planes

Wolf Spiders BIG. Brown,. Hairy and they will CHASE you. Some the size of dessert plates

Banana Spiders Beautiful black, yellow and reds..nearly as big as Wolf Spiders...web spinners

Brown Recluse Spider.. Can't see em in the attic, but the nasty little buggers BITE and the flesh turns necrotic

Black Widows Pretty tame compared to the above, watch the wood piles and fallen trees

Florida Blue Centipede..up to 3 inches long, venomous and FAST!!!!

Last but not Least..

The Love Bug a man crafted cloud of bugs that eat Mosquito Larvae, clog intake valves on cars, destroy car paint jobs and obscure windshields with 2x's a year swarming. This is a D/s relationship..the Female (larger than the male) continues to fly with it's mate who is condemend to flying upsidedown, and backwards attached by his ... organ. It can be amusing to watch her cling to a windshield on a car doing 70 mph with him flapping in the breeze..you can almost hear the screams!!!!!

i was bitten by a brown recluse spider once, luckily my buddy had been in the army and had seen it once before and told me what is was right away, after only 3days i had a knot in my leg under the bite about 1/2 the size of a golf ball.. i had to cutt it out... nothing more pain ive found yet! now im scrared to death of spiders of pretty much anykind!

Najakcharmer -> RE: bug torture (4/10/2008 10:03:44 AM)

Anaphylactic shock is not a safe thing to play with, and when you're dealing with arachnids, arthropods and insects who secrete substances that are mildly irritating or painful to humans, you are at risk of ending up with that reaction in an unpredictable manner.  Risk increases on each exposure to these kinds of proteins.

If your thing is letting the bugs crawl harmlessly over you, that's fine, but you need to be fully aware of the anatomy and capabilities of the "harmless" bugs you're using.  Crickets have rather formidable jaws that are not often used in defense but may be used in a feeding response, easily triggered by moist skin in thirsty animals. Giant mealworms likewise.  Tarantulas and their relatives (Theraphosidae, etc) have urticating hairs that are highly irritant and may result in serious rash, and while their bite is not fatal, it is quite painful and can cause minor tissue damage.

Picking up a random bug from the environment and putting it on somebody for fun can (and has) resulted in fatality.  Some of those fuzzy caterpillars that are so very cute?  They defend themselves with a contact venom that can kill an adult.  You really do not want to go there.  There are lesser examples among creepy crawlies that won't kill you but can do a whole lot more damage than you may have been counting on.

And let's not forget that the bugs don't consent, and it is pretty fucking sick to seriously harm or kill other living beings in the pursuit of your sexual gratification.

That would not match the symptoms of envenomation by Loxosceles reclusa.  In what geographical locality did this incident occur, and under what specific circumstances?
