i spoke to a sub/slave in Memphis whose dom was an entomologist - and used bugs to scene her. The one that freaked me out (and I admit, made me a bit hot- even though i would be yelling red!) was that he would catch wasps, and hold them to her nipples to sting them.           Hows that for sick - and hot.

And bloody dangerous, unless he was using a species that invariably bit rather than stinging with venom.  Repeated exposures to insect venom proteins can cause sudden and unpredictable anaphylaxis and is absolutely not a safe way to play.

I got it out of the canal behind the office. Took all of my lunch break to catch him. Why? Ya want one?

No, I have plenty thanks, but I would like you to stop breaking the law and harrassing the local wildlife.

I lived overseas in a tropical country for a while years ago and my ex husband didn't tell me that they had extra large (10" from the tip of the front creepy legs to the tip of the back creepy legs) tarantulas that would wander in the house and crawl all over.

Oh you lucky bitch.   If there are snakes too, I'm taking my next vacation there.  Where was it?

i was in northern IN at the time, not many brown recluse up there but there are a few. as i said i went off my buddys advise of what it was and that it would get worse. at that time in life i was very scared to goto a doc, and was quite poor... in the very early 20's its hard to have any $, and i could deal with giving myself pain better then someone else doing it... so i removed the knot in my leg... hurt like crazy it was like a giant pimple core...ewww. but it all came out and was healing very nice within just a few days. no scar today!

Not a brown recluse bite; symptoms a total non-match.  There are a few other potential culprits in your area, but none of them are arachnids.

my father used to think it was funny to try to get me to act girly and squeal over some of the dumbest shit.  yes, i don't like spiders and centipedes, we had some in the one house we lived in that would literally chase you out of their territory.  one day he found a huge praying mantis and snuck up behind me and put it in my hair.  he figured i'd go running off screaming.  ms. mantis and i spent awhile together that afternoon, she liked my hair and i liked that it freaked my dad out that it didn't bug me.
this thread gives me some ideas, there's a guy on the local craigslist who has hissing cockroaches for sale.  hmmmmmm.
