Come now, Dom/mes, Masters, Mistresses, subs, slaves, polys, Gors, puppies, ponies, anyone with a faery as an avitar, -one and all- we all love Collar Me. Can't we forgive and forget the silly things that might be first posted by those with new accounts. And graciously answer the rerun questions because the OPs really are seeking to learn? Can't we all just get along?

Aparently not lol, people get frusterated after answering the same thing a million times, plus people will be people, and as long as we're all different we'll have different mindsets, thats what makes life so much fun hehehe. BUT I do think that if theres a newbie and they are genuinely seeking advise or help, they should get some respect for atleast getting the courage to ask.

Totally agree Pheonixinchains. I think its nice to see the opinions of the people with the new accounts, sometimes any input is valid input. Surely we would miss that if the forums became just a search facility, only providing the view and opinions of the long term members, or only covered subjects that the long term members thought were worthwhile. I personally enjoy spending time reading subjects new and old, rehashed and spat out again and tend to come across interesting items that I would never have dreamed of searching for.

People will be snarky online, frequently because it's easy to do without getting the shit stomped out of them for doing so. If the only way one could start a thread was to have a totally fresh topic, there wouldn't be many new threads.

I dont mind the rehashed questions asked in sincerity. I just hate the, "I'm a bitter pig and you subs should all bow down to me" threads. Then there is the, "I need attention because I should be on suicide watch and in a padded cell' threads. Then the "drop a bomb" threads and then never return"

Ok, you have been certified insane here and I haven't read all of your 14,424 posts, so maybe I missed one or two. Besides that, your restraint and kindness (and that of a few others) have made me reconsider some of my undisciplined and unkind posts and helped me to decide to be more judicious in the future. So, imo, this being a community of shared points of view, experiences and opinions, while being an opportunity to learn about others, it is also an opportunity to learn about ourselves and grow from the experience.

I appreciate you saying that, CJan. I've been snarky before, but I often go back and apologize, or send a mail on the other side doing so. (And some of the offending posts get yanked [:)]) You do okay, too. I can think of one instance where you showed restraint and good judgement, in the Rock On thread. Again, thanks, pal.
