Over the 2-3 years that I have taken a great interest in BDSM, and hung around these sites. I have grown to except, and even desire multiple fetishes, and kinks that I never liked and or would have considered. I was just wondering if anyone else has felt the same? Does anyone else find themselves looking for something more in life, something different? Get turned on to things you don't like, or want, yet find yourself wanting them anyway? All answers, and comments are desired... [:-]

Then I got a good job and career and released i needed a release, my then boyfriends were nice men and SOOOO boring... so i foudn the world of kink then I started playing and i craved more and more. there is very little i wouldn't do but only with/for a Master I trust and that trust has GOT to be earned over a long period of time.

I can say that for myself this has certainly been the case. If you would have told me 28 years ago when I first started on this path that I would even be fantasizing about some of the stuff that I now do and enjoy I would have told you that you were crazy. Growth is an amazing thing.

LOL it's always amusing when a novice goes NOOO WAY I would EVER do that! when first hearing about a kink. As John mentioned recently, a good idea is to put all your "no way never" lists into an envelope and open it after a year or so of being active in the scene. Can be very amusing. It's very common to get to love things you initially refused to contemplate, specially if you fall in love with someone else who IS into it. I'm into a LOT of things, and it's a very short list of things I actually dislike. One of those things was rubber. I never liked the smell of it, the texture, and it even turned me off. Of COURSE my boyfriend turns out to be a huge rubber fanatic. Through him, I've learned to do lots of stuff with it and can greatly enjoy playing with it with him. It's still nowhere near my favorites list and it's nothing I would miss doing if we never did it again, but getting into it to enjoy together was more than enough to get me exploring new things.

Thank you for the replies... Rubber is a major kink for me lol, well more so latex, and most anything that looks shinny clothing wise.. I haven't been in the scene in real life very long at all.. I very much regret to say I am unowned, and living vanilla, and it is as boring, and uninteresting as can be. But in time who knows... Nothing I wouldn't do for the lady I love, and if I ever find one, I hope it will be for a life long relationship...

I'm particularly partial to SMPE because I took my doctorate in Knoxville and one of the organizers is an old friend of mine. Years ago I was handed a list to fill in of things I have done and rated those 1 to 5 and if I hadn't done it I had to rate it 1 to 5 to how much it interested me. I was bored one night a filed it in then forgot about at. Years later I came across it and retook it and was amazed at thing I loved doing that I rated I wasn't much interested in. I suppose if I retook again there would be further changes. So no I am not surpirsed, I always say these days 'I will always try something once and if then one more time just to make certain wether I liked it or not.'

Hello There, This seems very related to your other thread to me. I can say before this past February I had the desires to be wilder my whole life. I held back so I could be what every one else thought I should be. Since February I've decided to make myself happy first. I do what makes me happy as long as it does not hurt any one else. If others are offended by my choices that don't affect them it's there problem now, not mine. I do the things now I use to only dream of. I feel very free and liberated. I say follow your dreams. One thing i've noticed about this Dom that i'm involved with is that if He wants me to do something all He has to do is plant this seed, i'm not even sure how He does it or what He says, He just mentions it somehow and suddenly something that i wasn't remotely interested in or was a major turn off suddenly becomes a fixation for me. i can't stop thinking about it! it gets to the point that i HAVE to beg Him to allow me to do it or receive it. LOL He certainly knows how to get me over those big hurdles.

I saved my very first checklist...lol.. sooo many things i didn't even know exsisted!!![;)] it has changed a great deal , but there are still things i wouldn't/couldn't do unless it was with a very trusted Master.. i think the the closer a relationship is, the more open i am.

ive been in the lifestyle for many years and there was always two things i feared , the tens unit and violet wand , who would have guessed i am a slut for both now lol. I say go for it!!! try it!! conquer the fear.

Not surprisingly both were developed for the medical profession. The big difference is that the TENS unit actually does work, while the violet wand has been relegated to quackery. The TENS Ironically, TENS units are prescribed for pain management. The theory is that the direct current pulsed shocks the units deliver interfere with the pain receptors. The typical TENS unit has two “channels.” This means that two pairs of positive and negative electrodes can be placed on the body. The current will run between the pads and between the electrodes on the dildo but not between the dildo electrodes and either of the pads. Each channel as a separate intensity control (usually located on top of the unit next to where the wire for each channel connects). In addition, most units have two other variable controls, one for the pulse width (how long the current is on for each “blip”) and the other for the pulse rate (how many “blips” per second). These two work on both channels simultaneously. That means, in the previous example, you couldn’t set one pulse rate for the two pads and another for the dildo. Generally, the controls allow you to set the unit to give from between two and 150 pulses per second and to have the current stay on from 50 or 60 microseconds (50/1000th of a second or 1/20 of a second) to 250 microseconds (a quarter of a second). The units provide a mild to heavy tingling sensation often accompanied by muscle twitching. I’ve found that people find the faster pulse rate to be the more “ouchie,” but the slower rate can be a lot of fun since it really gets a “grab” on the muscles so you can make them dance, but more on that later. The violet wand The violet wand, violet ray, or “violent wand” is a quack medical device dating to the early part of the last century. In those days, electricity was a new and mysterious thing and inventors vied at producing the most spectacular use for it. The salesmen claimed it would cure everything from rickets to impotence. (I do know some people who get a hard-on from a violet wand, but that’s not the kind of “cure” these snake-oil specialists were talking about.) Basically, the units are fairly simple. An insulated tube about two inches across and about a foot long contains a Telsa coil that converts line current to a very high voltage, low amperage current and outputs it through a gas-filled tube that glows with a mysterious blue light. When it is brought near the subject’s skin, a spark jumps from the tube to the skin. Some of the older units were made in two pieces but most are just the basic tube.

Wow so many responses, thank you so much... Well as for the "Just about anything".. I will have to say that if and when I do find that someone special, I do not believe there will be any such thing as Limits for me. When you grow to love and trust someone, at least from my own experiences..., you will do anything to please them. So just about would not really work in my case, unless I just don't know them. All things take time.. Love, relationships, friendships, and so on. The best things in life are those that have been given time to grow, and mature. I am a bit impatient at times, and I have been doing my best to change that. We attract what we respect in life, and if we allow someone to control us they will... I very much desire to be controlled, and owned, but I am stepping back, and letting people come to me. That way I can get to know them better, and also have a wider rang to choose from. If I am to serve as a slave to someone, then I want to chose wisely, so that both of us will be very happy, and enjoy our life and time together, regardless what is involved.
