ORIGINAL: Prinsexx Neighbours who ask me: Is this your hedge? looking down at their feet when it's QUITE obvious I have just cut back the clematis, the honeysuckle, the variegated privet and the creeping hydrangea so that THEY can walk down the entry between my house and theirs. I say: well it's mine, I'm sorry I was just letting it dry up a bit and then I was going to sweep it up, and then, you know I find myself apologising sort of to them, just because last year he said (my neighbour) that he diodn't like the spiders (ahhh deedums) you know that had built their webs between the hedge and the opposite wall of the entry that runs between my house and theirs and see well I had remembered so THIS yerar, because of the heat, well the hedge has grown rapidly so I had cut it back, by hand, with a pair of shears (better for my biceps) and they STILL conmplained covertly by saying whose hedge is this? (looking down at their feet) knowing full well that it was mine.......you know the kind of neighbour that has that covert agression yet manages to make me feel guilty..... the people in back get testy over where the property line is- i ignore it. i find that since planted oodles of plants it must be chopped down in order to look right. if landscape gets gargantuous- then, it doesnt suit for this lot. i do know what you mean. the type that confuse getting along w wanting their azz kissed. :-)
