I left the lifestyle twice, thinking I could be vanilla. I now understand that is impossible for me, so I dove really deeply in instead and I am really happy now : )

i lived all my life in the vanilla marriage. and til i knew what and who i really was. i wasnt happy. now that i have embraced the fact! i could never go back vanilla. which many tell you that trying to live a vanilla life. will go thru not being true to yourself. i am very proud of who i am. and serving is the body is the happiest..i walk proud with my head held high!!!!

It's an integral part of my lifestyle but not much more than that. My lifestyle is my lifestyle..

It's also what I do with some people, specifically women, or rather what they do with me. But then again it's part of that relationship, not the whole relationship.

Other than that it's an interest, a fascination, a source of study, of learning.

Yes, and have.
Especially when I make more effort to showing up and keeping communications open more than The Dom/Master I was with...
However... I know what I am at heart..and I always wander back...

Sometimes, it's good to "walk away" to clear up your head and heart...

I have know a few subs that did just this..and found out that they wanted to be a Switch or D themselves...and a few just wanted nothing of it period and took it as a life experience....

All I can say is, do what YOU feel you need to do.... no one else can make that choice for you....
