Status: offline 		Once again, the straight world begins to catch up with the GLBT world. Back int he 70's, before the plauge, this sort of scene was fairly common. Several venues in major cities across America had either black rooms, or labyrinths, where you could enter and have annonymous sex with as many people as you like. However, a trip to the free clinic was recommended by the end of the week.

(As history has shown, some of the excesses of those times led to some rather sad results.)

However, the idea of "faceless" (i.e. annonymous) sex still has it's attractions. It's a way of allowing yourself to enjoy the act for it's own sake, without things getting muddled by guilt, or worry, brought on by religious or societal conditioning.

However, you could enjoy this sort of thing on a smaller scale, by attending a play party in a leather hood, or a mask (a la "Eyes Wide Shut") and if it is a party where everyone knows each other and uses protection, the negatives are minimized. (This does, however make the "black room" scenario a bit difficult. Try turning out the lights, or wearing a blindfold, and toss a condom over your shoulder. Then try to find it and put it on, while keeping an erection.)

Status: offline 		different moods on different days....but honestly in the last 10 years anon. sex has lost the appeal as the receiver because of potential safety risks, (you cant be sure of a strangers level of dedication to barriers in a dark room or with a blindfold on or even under covers....) but as the giver.... yeah, still hot.

Status: offline 		Anonymous sex is, to me, muy caliente. I've experienced it a number of times and love it. There are other ways to communicate besides verbally. This is one of the things that I like about it. We communicate with our eyes, body language, expressions, touch and pheremones. To be engaged in this, one (two, actually) must be fully present , focused and aware. Hoochie, momma!  Also, just because it may be anonymous doesn't mean it has to be risky if common sense precautions are used.

See...now this wouldn't work for me because my pessimistic tendencies would have my brain saying that I wasn't having sex with someone hot, but rather it was with someone so butt ugly that they needed pitch black in order to get laid.  My brain wouldn't be able to get around that thought.

I seek the physical appeal more so if the emotional connection doesn't exist.  I have been with more than a handleful of women that I don't know their names... or people that I saw more than once. I enjoyed it to a point... but one thing I did realize and it made it difficult.. was finding a woman that enjoyed doing the actions that I enjoy.  I am not so interest in a Hot blonde if she is a dead fuck.... I like passion expressed... I like sexual aggression.  Truth is... as much as sex is an action... there is always an emotional aspect to it... but for nameless sex ... it isn't the emotions I have for the my partner but the emotions I have for the actions that I am engaged in.

Status: offline 		The idea to me is hott!  The idea of possible STDs is not.  Since i was sexually active prior to HIV i indulged in sex for sex's sake and loved it.  Now, i am thrilled to be in a monogomous relationship with a Master who does not share.

That being said, Master has introduced me to hoods and i absolutely love them! Master has a custom latex hood that has eyes, nose and mouth open but is getting two more so that eventually i will have only nose opening for breathing.  Even looking at a hood that is padded so that it's even more confining with just a half-inch grommet for air.

I also was sexually active prior to AIDS.   I had went thru a divorce was a single mom, when at 2 years old my son ended up in the hospital for internal bleeding, I was told if the bleeding continued at the rate it was , then he would require a transfusion.  At the time AIDS was just found in the bloodbanks it was daily news ..people dying, no way to screen... no cure..  and here I am scared not knowing why my son is bleeding internally they were running tests for hemophilia and putting him under nuclear scans for kidney failure they  had call in rare disease experts trying to get answers and now I am  presented  with possibly another menace of him becoming infected with AIDS  while all the news stations are playing  over and over on the screen every couple hours that AIDS has been found in the blood supply... I was damn near a total basket case not knowing whether my son was dying or would die from tainted blood. 

STD screening won't protect you if a new killer STD emerges as no test will exist to detect at least not until deaths start occuring  and the cause becomes indentified and like with AIDS it could be several years before some form of treatment finally becomes available which for many will come too late, like with AIDS it would find its way into the blood banks.

I plan to keep my risk levels as low as possible  by trying to minimize the number of sexual partners I have... instead of counting on condoms to protect me

I can think of hundreds of sexual fantasies which I would be prepared to indulge in with someone I love who I know loves me. I wouldn't do any of them with someone I didn't love who I knew didn't love me.
I've done a lot more of my fair share of allowing myself to be abused sexually and abusing others.

Nope.
