No, mostly because bondage doesn't really do anything for me. The idea of being tied up and unable to get away just has no appeal at all.

When tied, or in any form of bondage, for me it is (at the risk of sounding corny)...completely freeing. Its a chance for me to be myself, with no comeback, no concerns and no worries. It sounds ironic to think of bondage as freeing, but personally to Angel it is. The retraints allow the release of a part of me that cannot surface otherwise. The key to using handcuffs or shackles is to double lock it and use the better cuff. I always carry with me an extra pair of keys that will fit almost any police issue cuffs. The reason I do that so the new pair will come with their own keys and I will have extra pair of keys for all my pair of cuffs and shackles. The only pair of keys that will not fit every handcuff are thumb cuffs. The part on the key that is used to open the cuffs is a little bit larger. With a little filing you modify it to fit the thumb cuffs along with ever cuffs and shackles also remember safety not to tight them too tight for you can damage or cpmpress the tendons on the person wrist.

I was given a 5 piece set, collar, wrist & ankle cuffs speciall made for me. Unfortunately they now sit unused as the rlationship ended, I gained some weight and am now exercising my Domme muscles.

I have not been in any kind of cuffs that I was not able to either wiggle out of or break. Going on just wearing cuffs alone....now when I play most ppl know me and make layers under the cuffs (speedbumps they call them)......if they are actually going for something I might not respond well to. Yes, i have worn them three times. Two times it was ok in that it turned out all right and my trust wasn't misplaced. One of those was with a former police officer and He had some very fine cuffs. Adjustable to a wide range of sizes. The ones that one can buy at the pawn shop tend to be snug (on me, at least).

The problem with steel cuffs is they dont give, and if one is a heavy player there is a possibility of inflicting soft tissue injuries on the person's wrists and ankles. I prefer leather dungeon cuffs myself, but that is just me, and I could be wrong. On the other hand, give me a floor joist to dangle chains from and THEN dungeon cuffs and Im good to go. Sinergy

Thats exactly why I like steel cuffs. It hurts when they struggle. the first gift my Husband gave me when W/we were courting was a two inch wide stainless collar and wrist and ankle manacles. i was very intimidated at first, but love them now. i cannot sleep in them, but do wear them for extended periods. there is something quite comforting about stainless steel.... i really don't like handcuffs in comparision - - they cut into my wrists a bit. W/we do use them for short periods, tho.

There is actually quite a bit of research on soft tissue injuries from handcuffs as police departments are frequently sued by people who have soft tissue injuries when police have had to subdue a struggling suspect. On a related note, a police officer can use a Mag lite to beat a suspect to death, and if the flashlight works when he/she/it is done, it is not considered police brutality. Not sure what that has to do with soft tissue injuries, but I hang out with the wrong people and am currently on disability from a soft tissue injury to my hand that I sustained working on the docks. I have been bound by leather restraints (yes the ones that are used in a hospital) and the nylon restraints that are also used in a hospital setting. I tried.....and tried....and tried to get out of them. Ohh yeah..(oops, i have tried steel cuffs). I played with an MP one night and well...those cuffs were real..and ouch!!! Too damn rough for my princess butt![:D]

The reason for this survey was to see how many Lifestylers break the laws of enslavement with out being aware. US law states that once a person is put into a restraint where they have zero control and cannot release their selfs if desired it becomes nonconcensual and against the law. This poll was for those Lifestylers whom proclaim to not break any laws but might not be aware of how they are broke with in the lifestyle by small ways and any way which could land them in prision.
