Status: offline 		I have been told by a few that I have a ora of a sort that I put off.  Told I have a commanding presence! They have said they can tastse me. Which I can understand that myself because I have picked out subs/slaves the same way.

Yess I am covered in tattoos and have a few peirceings I dont walk like a girly female but I do swing my bigg ass. I look like a biker depending on how I dress. Can look profetional when  need be and look like a mom when I want to be. But no matter what they can pick me out. Especialy when I am wearing boot heels.

That could be very true. There's been a few times where a woman has put out an aura of such strength, that it was almost like striking a deep bass note, which made me curious about her.

Status: offline 		Wow, some of you guys are really REALLY funny.  I love how more then one of you felt compelled to commented unconstructively on my silly spelling errors, and how none of you are at all pretentious about your lifestyle.  It’s very refreshing.

Oh, no wait, it’s exactly like every other interest board in existence. Full of bitter social retarded web cliques.

No offence to those whom were actually helpful. You know who you are.  But all the trolling makes it hard to droll through the posts.  I imagine there are better forums to troll at.

It just seems like if your not going to be helpful, or if you don't understand the question because you haven’t interacted lately in open social environments, then why bother posting?

Lol.

The bumper sticker on my car says "Protected by Amazons".  Making your own bumper stickers via Cafe Press is a highly underrated form of amusement. 

The serious answer to the OP's question is that very few women are really open about their dominance in public.  The ones who are tend to signal it by small things like a handcuff or mini-flogger keychain hanging from a purse.  There are also a few fetishistic things that a woman might learn to do to attract submissive men and women over time, like always wearing some leather, especially a pair of boots of some kind--but you can't count on every woman you see wearing boots or leather being a femme domme or even a top.

There are also some body language and eye contact patterns you can probably spot with enough experience--the woman who carries herself with power, who makes bold eye contact and looks you up and down shamelessly--but there are no guarantees on the subtle stuff, and personally I am not comfortable making assumptions like this about strangers in a vanilla setting.  I prefer to meet BDSM oriented people at munches and events, or on sites like CM.

Ok... since it seems you can't find humor in any of the replies, I'm gonna seriously answer your question. (Maybe some people from both sides - male & female will agree. I can't say yes or no either way.)

Be warned though, because its VERY complicated, and VERY technical.

See... (most?) Dominants are ONLY approached because of that one factor: They eat, sleep, breath, crap & live BDSM 24/7. Which, is why 90% of the sarcasm/humor was aimed at this post. It has nothing to do with cliques.

Fact of the matter is, some Women hide that fact, (and TBH with you, I've seen some of the same points I'm making, reiterated by other members of the board in past replies and topics) because they are sick & tired of being regarded/treated as a "walking, talking, fetish life support system" (sorry to steal the quote, I'll give credit to whoever made that saying  up) for submisives....and again, being approached for that SOLE, specific reason (the reason being, they are very active in BDSM - whether they live it, or use it to spice things up in the bedroom) makes them (want to?) hide it.

There's a saying I've seen pop up on the boards a number of times:

Person first. Dominant second.

This applies to both males & females. Although, I feel pretty confident in saying that Women go through this far more than male dominants.

Awww, widdle man didn't get the answer he wanted, so he throws insults. But to assuage your hurt feelings (because I know there are men out there who simply aren't used to not getting what they want), here are the answers I think you are really looking for. You want to know if a woman is "sexually dominate" before you take her home or even start talking to her? Just buy some tequilla. Given enough Patron or Jose Cuervo, even the most vanilla girl will probably do whatever dirty and cliche things you have stuck in your mind. Now, if you actually want to explore submission or serve a dominant woman, get active in your local community or invest some time here, and you might learn something.

That's exactly how i would describe the various Dommes I've met over the years. 

It's not a matter of what you look like... or what you wear... age... or experience.  It all comes down to the attitude.

Can't begin to count the number of times I've met Dominant women who will tell me that they struggled for years in their vanilla relationships with men - until finally they were exosed to the D/s lifestyle - and it hit them like a ton of bricks that they were Dominant.  They spent years trying to play the role of the 'submissive housewife' when in truth they were going against their true nature.

All of these women had the 'unmistakable presence.'  A take no bullshit, take charge, assertive attitude.

For the true submissive, a Dominant woman's aura is incredibly alluring, sort of like the 'song of the Sirens' was to Odysseus.
