What is it you seek ?

It started out as a way of meeting a funny, smart, sexy, monogamous, dominant man who could balance kink and day-to-day life...but since discovering such a man is as easy to find as Sasquatch...i decided to stick around for friends and the forums....

greetings aneirin,

i've pretty much always been here for the forums. i've tried a couple of other online d/s forums and although occasionally i get overwhelmed and/or annoyed by how big this place is and how things can get sidetracked or the same issues rehashed and the general forum drama...i've stuck it out for a few years now. so i doubt i'll be going anywhere anytime soon. i have done a little bit of looking for play partners on here and possibly exploring poly with someone i've met here, but nothing that's really panned out, so usually i just put "owned and looking for friends/discussion" as my general status. it's only recently that i've actually been posting more in the off topic forum than anywhere else, LOL.

Aneirin, initially I came here to read the forums and hopefully meet like-minded people I could forge friendship with, and even more hopeful that I would perhaps meet someone that scratches my many itches. I now live with my submissive partner whom I met via this site initially, I have also made some good friends here and continue to meet others (platonically) - earlier this week I met Julie and Marc from this site who are now on their honeymoon. As for now, I come here to enjoy the forums still and hopefully meet/make some more friends.

Edited to add that I've used other sites, such as IC, and CM is by far superior... people only have to look at the forums and see the general topics of conversation to see why CM is my preferred choice of site. So yes, not only has it lived up to my expectations, but continues to excel.

I oringially came here to get back into the lifestyle after a vanilla marriage. I didnt think I would meet too many people, but at least I'd have an outlet for my Dominant feelings that I had put aside from my now ex husband.
I found far more than I had hoped, by way of Angel and Fox.
Now, I stay here for the forums, and to keep in touch with friends and contacts that I dont talk to anywhere but on CM.

I've never posted to the forums before, but this thread looks like a good place to start. I truly enjoy reading all of the opinions of the wide range of individuals that belong to this site. I have had many positive experiences exchanging email with a some folks here, but have also had a few negative experiences as well. I am a firm believer that knowledge is power and the more that I am able to learn about myself through the reading of others ideas and opinions, is invaluable to me.

When I first joined this site I had no idea what it was I was looking for, or even if I was looking for that matter. I love reading the wealth of resources available from such a diverse section of the community. My eyes are continually opened to new concepts and the multitude of posts available on these boards ensure my synapses are constantly stimulated.
