I have just remembered I had a freaky dream last night, which is something I care to note, as often I don't remember them.
This one was the teeth falling out dream, but a bit more severe in that the whole one side of the jaw broke free and came out and I was holding it in my hands seeing it was old and decayed, but trying to shove it back in, but it kept falling out. In the dream I tried to go to a doctor to get it fixed, but I was being ignored as they carried on with something else, but then noticed me and my plight, and agreed to fix it, but pushed me aside, I got the feeling I was being listened to but at the same time fobbed off.

Anyone any ideas to that ?

Teeth falling out represents the fear of saying something foolish.

That and the fact your dream had a 'NHS is shit' theme.

You most likely have a mineral deficiency, calcium, phospourous, manganese, magnesium sodium, copper.

Yes a sodium deficiency, it happens. You can't absorb the sodium from normal table salt, that's the problem with it in the first place.

Years ago I called and asked for a comprehensive blood test, they simply don't do it even though I was willing to pay. What's more, in years that came I found that a blood test is not all that accurate. Those minerals generally do not belong floating around in your blood.

I can't dispute what FC said, but the books I read said that dreaming about your teeth falling out meant impending death.  Of course everything I've read on the subject was written twenty years ago or more.

No, I cannot interpret your dream.

At a guess, though, I would say that something that you consider an important part, perhaps something that enables you to defend yourself, teeth, half a jaw, your feelings? has become old and worn out. The other parts of your mind, however, consider this to you mayor event as of no importance at all considering the greater scheme. So they are consoling you while making a false promise.
Trust those other parts of your mind that what has been damaged, though in your opinion important is rightly so in their mind of no importance at all.

Simply say that he is mistaken in that fact, Hk. There is no need to be scathing. I accept that T has a very high IQ. Why cannot you?

Okay as a disclaimer: i have nothing but my own head in which to interpret your dream. I would say that there is something going on in your life where you feel like your thoughts or ideas are not  being taken seriously by those with authority over you, though it is something that you see as very vital ... probably too literal but thats what i would look at with such a dream

I once dreamed rats ate my actual face.

but I'm still here, rat free.

And there was the one with the flying over a field of naked people on a hover-board... funny its not in the dream-book!

The overall theme of the dream's imagry, and in the feelings you had while experiencing it (always far more important than the dream itself, IMHO) seems to add up to a fear or anxiety about not being able to communicate to others, and of being rejected/ignored by authority figures in your life.

I wouldn't sweat it too much. Dreams are the jumbalya of conciousness. All kinds of daily scrap gets put into the blender, and when sleep comes along, the REM cycle is like hitting "frappe'." If you keep having the dream over and over (with minor variations) then there might be something more to it. But, since you said this one was really out of the ordinary for you, chances are it was just a freaky thing... did you have anything spicy before going to bed that night?

I really envy those people that remember their dreams. I never seem to be able to, I close my eyes, I wake up and it’s like I hadn’t slept at all.

I did once have a dream about getting up to go to work which was annoying because I had to travel to work six times instead of five. Damn brain why do you torture me, can’t you at least include one sex scene from time to time?

LOL FC

I have a dream that recurs fairly frequently..the minor details may vary, but it always involves a large ship (like an aircraft carrier), something like the wormhole in the movie Contact, a hotel with bizarre elevators (they spin to access to doors at different floors), and it always leaves me feeling -not frightened, but definitely disturbed.

NO idea what to make of that one..LOL

Yes but the good news is that random sex with a stranger on the internet with a geometrical name will cure you and you will live happily ever after.

(edit: new = news)
