Ive spoken with other FemmeDoms and we've all had the same problem, so Im going to the source here and asking. Why is it that so many male subs make appointments to meet a Domme and then dont show up? I know not all of them do this but it seems to be endemic. Can anyone enlighten me?

I have never made or failed to show up for such an appointment. I have been cowardly and forgetful on occasion.

I don't know about male subs, but I've actually had the opposite problem, with Dommes just completely ignoring and avoiding me after the topic of meeting IRL came up.

no longer horny
time restraints
no longer interested
uncomfortable
fake
afraid of what may come of it (good/bad)
dont see it as worth the trouble/effort

Alot of male subs, its just a fantasy, and thats all they want. Some, they are sincere, but they let the fear get to them. Is meeting someone for the first time scary? Hell yeah. Some guys it just overwhelms them. However, there are good guys out there. Just gotta find one.

Give them a break people. Mabey the batteries on their gps system died. Mabey they could not get all of the bars on the cell phone. The gas price went up.  This may be hard to believe but this has happened to me also. Do what I did and get over it and move on.

I bet many of the above reasons are valid and common.

Speaking from my own experience, that first meeting was very daunting. I did everything possible to procrastinate and almost ended up not meeting my Domme. Honestly I was scared shitless.

Of course when it did happen, i quickly realized there was nothing to worry about. So to any erstwhile subs and slaves who get cold feet or nervs, it's better to regret something you did do that didn't!

Happens on all sides of the fold and so forth. The reality is either too difficult or too costly to overcome for one reason or another. Some people have the nerve to step up and say "I didn't show because..." Others just bail and leave you hanging and never contact you again. Doesn't matter much 'why'. The action is what matters, and they can either rectify the situation or leave it as is. I personally take it as a sign of unreliability if they can't show up and don't give me an explination that's worth a damn.

Appointments? Is this a pro-domme thing? Whilst I can't comment because I have never and would never enlist a pro...I know I'd never meet someone if they called it an appointment if it was a first meeting etc etc...just seems to formal when I would be trying to establish friendship, trust and a connection.

That said if I entered into an agreement to meet someone I respect that enough to let her know if I couldn't make it for some reason.

No breaks! If all of this happens in one day, and they can't show, they should have the common courtesy to call and let the other person know. If they are still scared about the wife finding the number, use a pay phone or something.

Huge pet peeve of mine. Once you no-show, you don't ever get another chance. And by the way "I had a family emergency" is way over done. Find a more creative excuse.

As a Dom I've had the exact same problem.

I started talking to a girl online, we got along really well, she was submissive, and beyond all that stuff we had a lot in common.  We talked for a month or so and exchanged numbers and sent texts to each other.  We agreed to meet up, set a time and a place, she never showed.  She didn't respond to my calls or texts, and wouldn't talk to me online.  An explanation would have been nice.
