It's not just a FemDom / male sub thing. There are lots of no shows on all sides on the Dom / sub, Male / Female equation. Chalk it up to cold feet and move on. If you want to give them a second chance be sure they understand that its two strikes and you're out. This is not baseball. Domino

Perhaps it is simply that common courtesy is now a lost art ... there should be no excuse for a lack of manners and not showing .. and especially no explanation... is a BIG lack of manners .... I have little use for rudeness or lack of manners ..... in anyone Dominant or Submissive .. but that is me ....its a part of the measuring stick I use to judge compatibility

It's about an empty promise, even when you're on cam & voice for a year, they manage to stand ya up when the time is there.. I don't know maybe they get off on that.. This is something which really gets on my tits. We have the Internet, we have cellphones, payphones, regular phones, cordless phones, pagers, text messages, there's no excuse for no show. But we also appear to have what I call anti-culture, where it's acceptable to be selfish, ignorant, disrespectful and downright moronic. But what do we expect after replacing families and communities with corporate culture and consumerism? Sunday parenting with childcare and nannies throughout the week doesn't work - kids need parental control, discipline, and interaction, they need love and security. Otherwise they grow up into the anti-social yobs we have today who cannot comprehend anything which doesn't affect them directly or which doesn't give them instant gratification.

Yea I recently got the "Oh, it was too late to call" excuse after moving our meeting back a few times but meh, I've moved on to bigger and better things. I think they just chicken out.

It sucks, but it happens to all of us no matter how long we've been in contact with someone. I've had subs not show and not contact me for a week or longer, and then come up with some vague excuse only when pushed for one. My partner and I even had a situation where we invested a couple of months talking online and by phone with a girl a few states away, developing what we thought was a good solid base relationship. She was going to come here for a week and called every 2 hours on her "drive" here. Her last call was from a city an hour away... and she poofed into thin air... until about a month later when she showed up online again and blocked our messages. I know it's frustrating, but even more so when they do show up and expect sex, a collar, or both after sharing a cup of coffee!
