ORIGINAL ShaktiSama I think someone needs to write some of this high fantasy swashbuckling escapist sex-ay crap with a female dominant theme. This particular brand of escapism is mostly a male characteristic (Gor, Dungeons & Dragons, Magic, WoW, the list goes on and never ceases to grow). Women don't need to fantasise so much about dominating men: they just go ahead and do it. I think that girls don't get into gaming because they are told they shouldn't plus the stereotype is that it is for only geeks, geeks equaling in a large degree to boys/men more than girls/women. It takes a self-assured girl/woman to join a gaming group but once in, they can be great assets to any storyteller or DM. I love gaming, I'll be running a Sabbat Vampire game here again for our group and I run Ghoul Fatal Addiction games at different conventions that are fun and popular -- also erotic, what can I say, can't take that out of me so my games are for mature players. Some of the best players I've ever met were other women -- not girls, but women -- but then again the men we play with are also mature, excellent role-players by and large. They wouldn't survive my games very long if they weren't. One big difference I do notice among our friends is that the guys tend to be in multiple gaming groups more often than the women through some of the ladies are in two or three groups the guys tend to be in three to five groups! EEK! I have a life I need and want to lead so I'm just in 1 group, ours. While I can't say I write like the mentioned authors, "Servants of Destiny" is certainly a fantasy novel with a very strong dominant female and frankly a strong submissive male as well.
